The Staff were very polite and very approachable.
The food (breakfast & cafe) was fantastic and a great range of choice available.
The facilities in the room, including the room were fantastic
The local area didn’t have as much entertainment or night life as we expected and it is a long tram journey to the closest area with attractions/ entertainment.

I discovered Bredene on this first visit and completely fell in love with it. Bredene is a keeper; it's like a hidden gem that has maintained a good balance between small-scale local tourism and the natural appeal of the beach. Bredene is the only Belgian seaside resort that doesn't have the stretch of typical tower blocks looming like concrete hills facing the sea. It feels very light and airy as a result. Lovers of nature will appreciate the presence of dunes all around. Access to hiking and cycling routes throughout the region is right in front of you. There's an amicable, village-like vibe and your hosts at Hotel De Golf contribute to this relaxed atmosphere greatly. Every member of staff greets you with a smile, and that smile remains present until you check out. The homemade food is wonderful, from the generous buffet breakfast to the afternoon waffles or pancakes and dishes served at dinner time. The place is impeccably clean and very well situated; the beach can be reached on foot in just 10 minutes. Everything you need is a stone's throw away. The family is also the owner of a lavish villa in the Dordogne in France. Check the website to find out more. Feeling let down, at this address, is simply impossible.
I cannot think of anything that spoilt the fun. Hotel De Golf is a family-run, no-nonsense 2-star hotel that is managed with great dedication. Great value for money too, a weekend away will not rob you of a small fortune. The perfect excuse to .. come back, if you ask me. (Which I did : -)

Close to beach ,some shops and restaurants , there is a Lidl few doors along ,Tandoori grill place is good.
Basically a bed for the night on route to Dover, there was a market across the road the next morning , best one ive seen in ages.

The place is very well located. It's very near to anything you might need shopping/recreational wise. Bredene has a very village like atmosphere; it has developed on a smaller scale than most seaside towns. It doesn't have those massive appartment blocks facing the sea and feels less heavy as a result. For people who love hiking and cycling this is ideal. Access to the beach is super easy too. Hotel De Golf is very welcoming and friendly. You will always be greeted with a smile. It's super clean and efficient. The food is wonderful also, as is the breakfast room. You really experience the dedication of good old Flemish hard work and quality here, something most Flemish people take pride in. The service offers very good value for money, a weekend get away will not rob you of a great deal of cash. We will definitely go back. I am quite smitten with Bredene now, after this first visit.
Nothing in particular.

The staff is very nice and helpful, we were offered lunch pack, as we couldn’t eat breakfast in the morning. Great location!
Very think walls, you can hear everything in the corridor. It is an old building and the shower needs some refurbishment. The room is small and can get very warm in the afternoon.
