Great room.
The gardener started the lawn blower right outside my room at 7:30 AM. For me, this is unacceptable. I was there for vacation.

The room was great. Had good quality towel, toilet paper ect...
Rained at night and the way out was floods when it rains.

Quiet spot(minus birds-to be expected anywhere)
Communication with staff was poor. No follow up when asked questions.
AC was WEAK. Struggled to get it working on the almost broken remote and even then it could barely cool the room.

Room was great. Very clean and so well Equipped. Many very thoughtful touches. And the staff was wonderful. Truly a great place to stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by this property. It was tucked away and quiet, but such an easy walk to the beach and also to the center of town. Everyone was friendly and pleasant. We especially appreciated the use of beach chairs and a large beach umbrella. We would recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay again. The view from the rooftop was spectacular!

beautiful location- well appointed design giving us a sunny terrace and a shady terrace to enjoy
steps not having rails at points

I liked the sensation of being in the jungle. I liked our view and our two terraces. I found the staff very responsive to whatever requests we had.
The website gave me the impression that we had our own hot tub on a rooftop terrace. The stairs had parts that were dangerous and needed a railing.

Had a very nice and relaxed few days. property was just as described. Rooms are clean and spacious.
I didn't dislike anything about our stay. If I had to pick one thing, it would be the walk up to the hotel from the downtown area.

We really were very comfortable here. The room was big. We even had a place to store our surf boards! Our daughter loved all the birds and animals around us! They had bikes and beach umbrellas to use.
This place has breakfast they get from a nearby restaurant but you have to order the night before by a certain time. Not a big deal bye we weren’t always ready to do this or back at our place to order so we ended up not eating at our room.

Location was good- not too close to the center of things but not far either. Loved the colourful, clean, well equipped room. It has charm and character. The pools were kept very clean as well.
The signage at the entry of the lane to the hotel needs to be spruced up. It made me wonder what I had got ourselves into! But, we were very pleasantly surprised when we got to the actual hotel!

Our room was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We loved our visits from the hotel cat Luna.
bed are a little to firm for my liking.

The place was great. Very clean and cozy, with everything in the room we needed. Such a great taste of Mexico with the decor and layout. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend! Also the place is a great location and out of the craziness of downtown Sayulita.

It was a charming little jungle escape just a short walk from town, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the shower had hot water and the staff were lovely and accomodating. I will definitely be back.
The wifi was a little spotty, but otherwise, it was great.

Great location, near the beach, a little up hill but managed it! Near a local place that has entertainment on Friday nights was. a bonus find.. didn’t have to go far! enjoying stay !
ladder to pool was a little low… needs a 2nd stair - for us short legged folks

The facilities are nice and well maintained. Expect a few bugs, since it's adjacent to the jungle, but the staff are very friendly and helpful. They did our laundry and had it ready in a couple hours. They did it for free and only requested a small tip at our discretion.
The access is through a street that is "sunken" w.r.t to the adjacent terrain, and it flooded (about half a meter deep) after a night of rainfall, making it impossible for our taxi to reach the property. So we had to carry our luggage and baby stroller over a side path. This wasn't the end of the world, but it could pose a problem for someone who has trouble carrying heavy stuff or who has reduced mobility.

The manager Sabrina was very responsive and friendly and the room was extremely clean. The area is quite but quick walk to Northside of beach. Also, they provide bikes and parasols to their guests which was great! I enjoyed my coffee on the terrace every morning and used the bikes to get to the beach and unto town.

Didn't order breakfast. Walked into town.
I had gastric issue, no fault of hotel.

Great location away from the hustle and bustle of the main area/beach. But still only a slow leisurely stroll to these when you want or need to. however there is easy access to the north end of the main beach which we loved especially with the use of the chairs and umbrella from the hotel. The rooftop is perfect for sunset and just relaxing when you need a nice chill day in.
Internet a little slow at times but not an issue for us as we’re on holiday for the nature.

Even before I arrived I already felt welcomed! Sabrina, the on site manager, messaged me to offer travel assistance and ensure that the room was ready for me upon my arrival. The room was perfect! I requested an upper floor room and was given room 6. A beautiful room with a sitting area, kitchenette, bottled water dispenser (bonus), nice large bathroom, and a small balcony that looked over the (very small, but cute) pool and with a partial view of the ocean. The palm trees in the distance were quite large/grown so view was minimal but I could easily hear the waves crash and a walk up one floor took me to the rooftop with AMAZING views! Sabrina was so sweet and helpful during my stay, arranging a golf cart for me for one of the days and the property has beach chairs and bikes you can use (free). The hotel is located north of the bridge, a quiet (peaceful) neighborhood that is just about 10-15 minute walk from the busy section of Sayulita just south of the bridge. There isn't any bar/restaurant, but breakfast from the North Side Cafe can be delivered (no extra charge) to enjoy in your room or on the upper deck. It was so nice to be able to walk over to countless restaurants, etc. yet escape back to the tranquility of my hotel. I read other reviews about the walk (up) to the hotel and yes, it's a slight uphill walk but honestly you should just plan to do a lot of walking if coming to Sayulita and I had no problems getting to or from the hotel even with my small roller bag. I would definitely recommend Mar y Suenos and hope to return to Sayulita again soon!
View off the 2nd balcony wasn't great, looked over to an area of dried/dead grass with some beer bottles likely thrown by the construction taking place above. But with the amazing view from the other I didn't really care too much. I was very happy with my room!

We loved the room. Very comfortable and a nice amount of space and amenities (small kitchen, drinking water, balcony, beach chairs and umbrella, beach towels, etc). The rooftop view and setup was incredible as well.
Tough to say anything negative. It is a bit of a walk from the plaza but it was nice to stretch our legs and get some exercise. Being away from town you do get a bit of noise from the neighborhood roosters and turkeys in the morning but that is how it goes anywhere so not specific to this property, just something to consider.
