Buena ubicación entre la carretera 54 y la costa. Reservé una habitación con terraza, desde la que tuve la suerte de ver la mejor aurora de todo el viaje.
La poca variedad del desayuno.

Great communication, they upgraded our room for free because it was available. Everything was very well explained and offered us paid all you can eat dinner - OMG it was delicious and totally worth for money.
Breakfast was also more than tasty. Variety of food types and very nice service.
Everything was clean, prepared and no problems during check in or out.
Whole hotel is in a great place to relax, close to the ocean, if conditions are good, than it is a great place for the Northern light. Just 5min by car is the Ytri Tunga beach, so you can go soon in the morning watch the seals there.
In our opinion this was one of the best stay in Iceland due to our 3 trips.
Thanks to all team! We are pretty sure, that we will be back one day.
That we booked just one night there

Decent rooms in the new wing, but poorly equipped.
Overpriced for the offer.
Very clean and friendly staff, but no service.
Breakfast offer is very Islandish - if you like it you are lucky.

The location.
The food, both dinner and breakfast. The service was mixed. The blackout curtains were too short and thus pretty useless.

A quirky place in the middle of nowhere. A good location if you are looking for a remote place to view the northen lights and to explore the snaefellsnes peninsula. It was very quiet with only a few other guests, but they were still serving food in the evening which really nice.
Quite dated but that added to the experience.

The location is good if you cant finish the Snæfellsnes within a day. Good view from your room as the room got big windows and balcony for aurora shooting/enjoying the night sky. Also the car park is near by the room as there is multiple doors aside the corridor.
Food is okej but a bit pricey.

Very nice hotel. The staff is lovely and special mention to Rachid, who was very helpful and advice us during our stay.

Awesome and unique location, extremely cozy and comfortable bedroom, very clean and great breakfast. very nice staff too.
comparing to other hotels in route one, we just missed a tea kettle and hairdryer, but no big deal to spend a night without these too.

Very quiet, remote, sea views
A little too remote if you want to eat away from the hotel, breakfast is great though, can't fault that.

We had a balcony and we're able to see the northern lights from our room.
Breakfast could be much better.

Nice rooms with great views. If you're lucky, big windows allow for aurora observing from the comfort of your bed and no need to freeze outside in the cold 🙂. Good breakfast with plenty of choices.

Our tour was looking for “dark skies” hoping to see the Aurora. This little hotel is in the middle of nowhere so met that criteria. It’s a little quirky, with the new wing attached to the older hotel - common areas are older but comfy and quaint. New rooms were very nicely updated. Good views.
Dinner is a buffet of home-made foods, quite complete with lamb and fish, salad, and a number of side dishes. BUT it was quite expensive, and there is no where else close by to go, so you have no choice.

Location, though remote, is really good for exploring the National Park. Few minute walk to the beach for evening strolls. View of volcano from room balcony. Owners were wonderful help when we awoke to a flat tire! Good breakfast.
We prefer a-la-carte meals since not big eaters. Buffet dinner, though good, seemed rather pricey. We ate on the north side of the peninsula the second night before coming back.

The location is good simply because it’s in one of the most beautiful places in Iceland and it’s easy to find because it’s by the one and only road that leads to it. The view over the North Atlantic from the room was great and the bed was comfortable.
The room was completely overpriced. Wi fi was bad and there were no cattle, glasses nor complementary tea or coffee in the room. No television in the room either. Nothing at all really in the room except for the bed, two chairs and a desk. The food was terrible. The interior of the lobby, restaurant and other shared spaces was made up from cheap clutter from the past three decades not in a good way. It seemed like there were no one really taking care of the place, no effort on any level.

- nice staff
- large room with great view and balcony
- original breakfast, tasty
- BUT MOST OF ALL, I was impressed by the fact that our room had no less than 21 (!!) power outlets. I must say I've never seeen such a high power-outlet-per-square-meter ratio in my entire life. Is that useful? I don't think so. But it is for sure impressing.
Counting the 21 power outlets around our room took me some time, I must say.

We liked our room with a door to step out to a small patio. The beds were comfortable. We liked the short walk down to the sea.
The food was delicious but wasn’t always hot enough

I liked the location.
The room was spacious.
The water got everywhere on the floors in the bathroom when showering.
The bathroom sink was small.
The heater didn’t seem to be working in the room.

Staff. Clean Rooms.
No TV in room. Had a funny smell in older part of hotel. It was hard to access food, could have a better lay out for buffets.
