Rincón de San Agustin Etla is located on a beautiful property with a lot of comfortable outdoor space.
There is not a restaurant on the property. I highly recommend renting a unit with a kitchen.

beautiful location, fruit trees in the garden and Amalia was an incredible host. I didnt stay long enough because in the end I fell in love with San Augustine. Amalia gave me a map of the town, and recommendations on where to eat and drink. beautiful food, I had the breakfast which was delicious!
the bed I was in May have had a broken spring as I felt I was sleeping on a lean on the left side of the bed.

set in beautiful grounds outside the village. very clean
Had to walk to the village . Had to
pay for towels. The owner was friendly but tried to charge us extra for taxes. Then for towels and finally said I had to pay for a second person I. the room even though I had booked a double room and paid the same as my daughter and her boyfriend. To be fair she didn’t follow that through.

I liked that it was in nature.
No towels. It is beside a brewery that can be noisy til 10.
Communication was poor and owner not friendly. She was happy to drive one guest to the dentist and help him with his Spanish but she was reluctant to even call a taxi for me upon my departure.
Felt I was imposing.she did not make me feel welcome.

The location has a beautiful garden and the host is very kind. They allowed dogs at an extra cost.
I believe that normally this place is very affordable. In that sense I guess it could be value for money. We made the mistake of booking between Christmas and new years, so we paid more than double for the same facilities.
What is advertised on booking as a two-bedroom bungalow, are in fact two adjoining bedrooms, with a bathroom directly attached to one of the bedrooms. The person in the other bedroom therefore has to pass the other room to make use of the bathroom, so there is no privacy. There wasn't a kitchen nor did we have a patio. After asking, the host gave us a small hotplate to be put in one of the bedrooms.
When telling the host that this is not what we expected we were offered another place for 3 nights (of a total of 5 nights), which was very kind. That place was much better, with a living room, kitchen and fireplace. However, the kitchen lacked basic necessities (e.g., we were three people. there was only one drinking glass) and the chimney is poorly designed, so all the smoke would get into the living room (yes the chimney was open). The only way to get rid of the smoke was to open doors and windows, which isn't great with temperatures well below 10 degrees Celsius.
Furniture and beds were old and not very comfortable.

The property was very cozy and clean. It was so relaxing being there with such great views of the mountains. Amalia is very friendly and a great cook. The property is adorable and I highly recommend it.

The grounds were beautiful. The bed was very comfortable.
The kitchen had a fridge and oven but no fry pan, pots or silverware or bowls to make pasta. It just lacked the basics to be able to prepare a meal and avoid their "restaurant" menu which offered pork and beef but for some reason not available. Wine very expensive. The cushions on the couch had no support whatsoever.

We enjoyed staying there a lot. It’s really peaceful place. We slept in small house at the garden. Breakfasts were just lovely with fruits, coffee and Mexican food. You can also get dinner with local beer. Hostess gave us tips where to go in the village and also in the state of Oaxaca. Hostess is really kind and helpful. We get her phone number before arrival in case of trouble getting there. You can also get some tourist brochures. Cleaning was every day. Parking is at the garden.
