Ansett Aus Traveller

Very close to Super Mall. Not too busy compared to other provinces in Manila. The receptionist is very friendly and the security guard is very helpful. The receptionist called us on the phone to make sure we're doing okay. I have so many cousins came to visit me in the hotel approximately maxium of 5 and there was no problem at all from receptionist. Salamat po to Oriental Zen Suites. 💙

a hidden gem

very nice room and bathroom. good bed and linen. good TV channels. friendly staff.

air con is old and not powerful location is not great but it’s good for a taste of old Manila.

Don't be cheated like me

The staff weren't friendly The studio very small and the equipments are poor Internet at the studio very weak and mostly interrupting Actually not deserved the money they've taken The place is not good no restaurant or any worth seeing place near it Anyway it isn't worth money In addition to that there are Cockroaches in the room

It is very clean!

It is very hot in the lobby! The electric fan is not continuously working as you need to stand in front of it before it turns on. So basically, there is no proper air ventilation in the lobby.

Basic, clean and well located

It was clean and well located for my purpose. Walking distance to UST and SM Mall. Also close to the train station. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The air-conditioner's filter needed cleaning / replacement. The fridge switched off every time I left the room, making it redundant. The wifi connection was poor.

The staff are helpful. The room is clean and they provide daily supply of toiletries with water and coffee. I can recommend this hotel. Though the location is not so accessible with public transportation. However, service wise is good.

Cockroach in the bathroom which is manageable.

The room is not as friendly and welcoming as the cigarette scent is so strong

I like the friendly staff and the locations

this is I think the 4th or 5th time in Oriental Zen. but this time, as we enter the room. it smells like a cigarette. not just a mild scent but so strong. we arrived late in the morning from a flight. but we cannot complain cause no one in the front office is available.

All staff was approachable, and salute to their manong guards, they are more accommodating.

There's no private parking, feel not safe for my car. And also wifi is to weak and you can't even enjoy watching a netflix 😒

Nice hotel, nice staff. Incorrect and misleading information on the Booking.con website/App

Friendly, helpful staff. They tried to help with the problems I mention below but their hands were tied and the blame for misinformation goes down to Booking.con. (not a typo, they are a con and I won't use them again.

I chose this hotel as Booking.con information states it has car parking. It does not unless you are a long term customer and only has a single space. I could park overnight on the road outside the hotel but had to move the car at 7am every morning and drive two streets away and pay PHP100 (£1.50). I had to pick it up again before 5 every evening. The information on Booking.con is very misleading Also, after being told the price I would have to pay I was charged PHP2000 extra at the property after Booking.con told me I would pay no more than PHP8000. A con by someone and I paid. I also upgraded to superior room with a "city view" - my room didn't even have a window. I don't think there's a room in the hotel with a city view. Another con by hotel/Booking.con

One of the cleanest and tidiest places I’ve stayed in Manila

Cleanliness

I just found it to be confronting to be asked a lot of questions by security when I arrived considering I already have submitted the necessary documents prior to checking in. I did not feel it welcoming at all considering I am a paying guest. I appreciate that it is for guests added safety but a bit of training on how to deliver security questions with arriving guests could somehow soften the approach to be more welcoming. At that point I am close to just cancelling my booking, good thing I saw reception and asked me to come in. Take note that this during normal business hours, I felt it is just over the top!

Strong hot water Clean building and room Close to SM San Lazaro Mall and UST Hospital Frontdesk staff helpful

Not in particilar order: No Early check in privilege altho the hotel seems empty. Best they could do is 15 mins early (13:45) so we had to wait in the lobby tired and hungry The property has seen better days TV audio very weak, cant understand news program Air con weak Tiny garbage can Aging furnitures, fixtures Not a true suite; just have small round table and chairs and they called it a suite Front desk staff not cust friendly. No 😀 Loud aircon Hear road noise even on top floor Overpriced. Not nice neighborhood (poor) No room service No restaurant in premises The hotel vibe and feel is comparable to SOGO, only bigger room. 2,5 stars; 3 star at best

Very good quality price for a solo traveler

The staff was amazing 15/10 very accommodating specially the front guard (the older guard). Internet worked perfectly fine. The room was very clean.

The room was little to small for us because we had many luggage. The bathroom needed maybe a little bit of fixing. But the rest of the room was very clean and beautiful

It was very clean and comfy, the guard was quite helpful which is a plus! There's a nearest SM Mall .. worth the price!

The mattress was quite hard, took me some time to sleep hahaha It would be best if the receptionist is knowledgeable tho 😉
