Cornish Pearl is found in the heart of St Ives town where a short walk leads you onto Fore Street with all of its shops, cafes, Cornish pubs, restaurants and galleries and St Ives harbour and beach, where it is a delight to be anytime of the year, particularly so if you're joined by your four-legged friend! Thoughtfully furnished with your comfort and warmth in mind, Cornish Pearl is ideal for a family of six + baby or for couples who are wishing to have that special break away. The Cornish Pearl is a popular holiday home for people who are getting married in the town or if you are special invited guests as the house is spacious enough for all those extra special items for a special day Please note that if you are requiring a property for larger families Cornish Pearl is available to rent with 5 StIves that is situated next door. Both houses sleep 6 people and cot and there is parking available for two cars
The town house is based over three floors with the sitting room, dining area, kitchen and utility area being on the ground floor, two bedrooms, the family bathroom and separate WC and washbasin on the second floor and the wonderfully light loft room is on the third floor. Cornish Pearl comes with its own private car parking space that is directly opposite the house and is very accessible
Accommodation consists of living space with comfortable seating for adults and children. There is a TV/ Smart DVD player with Netflix and other apps, gas fire. The dining area seats comfortably 6/8 people around the table table with four chairs and bench. There are games, books and DVD's for all to enjoy should the weather be inclement.
Kitchen with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer, coffee maker and more. Door leads to
Utility Room with washing machine, area to hang wet suits etc. and back door to small storage area at rear. Price of property includes bedding, towels, tea and coffee for arrival and welcome gift pack for anyone booking one week or more.

We had a weeks’ holiday in the Cornish Pearl with our 2 daughters and dog. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay in St Ives & was in a great location, just near enough to the town and the beaches but far enough away to escape and have some peace and quiet. The hosts were very helpful and answered any queries we had promptly. We would definitely go to St Ives and stay at the Cornish Pearl again.

A wonderful property in the best location.
It’s clean, it’s well looked after and the car parking space is an absolute gem!!!
The owners are really helpful and look after their guests by going the extra-mile when you arrive - I won’t spoil the surprise!
The local pubs are a stone throw away and are all very welcoming.
The bakery in town was the only thing that was disappointing. Everything was sold out by 9am! You need to get there early e.g. 7.45am.
We will definitely consider staying again.

We loved everything about the property, all the amenities we needed, great location, free parking, and excellent hosts. Very clean and well kept. The only minor drawbacks we could note was compared to US standards the shower stall was a bit small, but that’s to be expected I think. Also a clothing dryer would have been nice but it certainly was not a deal breaker. Overall we were very happy with the home as well as the helpfulness of the hosts. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting St. Ives.

This is a great location to travel all over Cornwall and is in easy reach of St Ives only a short walk away. The cottage is well presented and was very clean and had a homely feel to it. I would certainly stay again when holidaying in Cornwall and would recommend it to others.

Cornish Pearl is a fabulous property located very close to the centre of town. The house was lovely and clean and v well equipped- a real home from home. The parking space across the road was ideal. My family enjoyed the coziness of the house and the proximity to everything in town.Grocery stores are just down the street. The kitchen is well equipped and the shower was great. We stayed at Cornish Pearl two years ago and decided to come back for more. It's very conveniently located for the town, just a short walk to the shops and restaurants. Porthmeor beach and the Tate are easily reached. We were offered the option of a reserved parking space in the Stennack surgery, which is very close and well worth having. The owners, David and Helen are very helpful and everything was well organised for our arrival and departure. The cottage has everything you would need, including a well equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, TV, and the three bedrooms arranged over the two upper floors allowed our children to have a room each and not bother us in the nice large bedroom on top. The separate WC, in addition to the one in the main bathroom adjacent, helped save queueing and preserved tempers. Very convenient. Our second stay was every bit as good as the first.

Our stay at the Cornish Pearl
Loved our stay at the Cornish Pearl! It was ideally situated, just a few minutes walk from the shops and beach, but far enough away to be away from all the hustle and bustle. An excellent base. Lots of space for everyone, with the added bonus of a little balcony where we could see the sea. Our hosts were super helpful too and the whole place was spotless and lovingly decorated. Would highly recommend!

Lovely house!
We had a lovely week at the house and as others have said, the place is warm, homely and clean. The owners and housekeeper were very communicative and helpful. The only thing I'd add to help you decide whether to book or not is that there is only one bathroom (there is another wc), although the bathroom has both a shower and a separate bath, so suitable for one family. If you were a group of adults there might be a long wait if you all need to shower in the morning!

Lovely well positioned house in St Ives, beautifully presented with all the amenities. Well worth a visit. The loft room has views across the town to sea and is very comfortable.

A great stay.
We had a great stay at Cornish pearl. The location is very central, just a few minutes walk to the harbour in one direction and easy access to elsewhere. The house is large, clean and has all you need for a a few weeks away . It's well stocked for kitchen pots and pans, has a good size utility to dump all the things from the beach and a comfy lounge. The bedrooms are a good size and there is plenty of storage. It's on one of the main roads in to St Ives so can get a little noisy with early morning delivery vans. There is a public carpark (only 24hrs I think) behind the house so we arranged to park our car in advance at the rugby club, its a 10-15 walk to the rugby club and not too expensive. David and Helen are very friendly hosts and respond to messages quickly. All in all a delightful time in St Ives.

A comfortable, convenient and well featured cottage
Cornish Pearl is a characterful property located close to St. Ives centre, just a couple of minutes walk from shops and restaurants. That closeness is great - you can spend all day on the beach, get back, clean up, and out again for dinner very quickly and easily. Inside, the cottage is nicely decorated and appointed. Three bedrooms arranged across the two upper floors gave us plenty of space and allowed our two children to have a room each. We were offered the option of a reserved parking space at the surgery in the adjacent block, which we thought was very good value and added to the overall convenience. The arrangements for collecting keys were well communicated and worked perfectly. Everything was as described and we had no need to ask for further assistance, although contact details were provided in case we did. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Review of Cornish Pearl
The property was exactly as described on VRBO. There is a roomy living room, dining room and modern kitchen supplied with everything you could possibly need on the first floor. The second floor had two bedrooms, a full bath and an half bath. The third floor attic was remodeled into a beautiful master bedroom complete with French doors with a patio and view to the harbour. The linens provided by the owner were of very good quality. Although there is no air conditioning, the house was comfortable even in the afternoon with the windows open. We enjoyed communicating with the owner leading up to our time there. They are truly a joy to deal with and were so helpful. St. Ives is beautiful and the people there are so friendly. The location of this house is a short walk from the waterfront shops, restaurants and bars, as well as the beaches. We definitely would recommend this property and would stay here again if we get the opportunity to come back to St. Ives. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us!

We loved our stay at the Cornish Pearl. It was well-appointed and well-kept. And, even though we didn't think so at first, it was the perfect location in that town-I wouldn't have wanted to change it at all. The only disappointment was that there is no clothes dryer, as I thought it said in the listing. We were specifically looking for a place we could do all of our laundry for the trip halfway, and without a dryer, it's more difficult. However, there is a washer, and a laundry practically next door, so it still worked out. Very pretty.
