Every guest is treated like family at this place and you feel it from the first moment. Marco and all the rest of the staff are always smiling and eager to help and accommodate every need. The rooms and the common spaces are very clean and tidy. Both breakfast and dinner were great with different options for the dinner every day! The free shuttle to the lift in Valtournenche was also very convenient. It’s a people oriented business that makes you relax and enjoy your holidays even more!
The styling and the furniture are old fashioned but this is not necessarily bad since they are well maintained. Some people might find limiting the specific dinner time but this was not an issue for us.

Il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole, grazie al contributo di tutto lo staff e della famiglia, proprietaria della struttura, che sanno accogliere tutte le esigenze dei propri ospiti.

The hosts were exceptional and the meals were very good, considering also the home made food
The facilities were not very new, but they told us they are doing small changes every year

Extremely friendly staff! Marco is a special person ready to help you with any information! As well as his wife and father! Very good food and plenty of it! Marco offered us transport to the slopes and back at any time. Everything very good! Thank you!

Cozy family run hotel.
Marco and his whole family attentively take care of all guests. Free of charge public parking opposite the hotel, own shuttle bus to the ski lift to Valtournenche (about 2 km away), nice breakfast buffet and rich dinner, simple and clean room. We felt very well and would love to come back!

The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful, while Marco, the owner, was extremely helpful to me throughout with problems with my car, Covid testing and transporting me around the resort when required. He was an excellent host.

Staff is very nice (except for one incident mentioned below) and accommodating. We felt very welcome. The location is convenient for skiing but if you want anything else then you need a car. Cervinia is 30 minutes drive. Minibus transfer to the nearest gondola in Valtournenche is 10 minutes. You can buy ski pass at Valtournenche, no queing which is great. It takes between 20-40 minutes till you arrive to the slopes from the property.
Breakfast was ok, croissants and cereals are very good, I also liked the salads served for dinner. Location is quiet so can have a good nights sleep.
Property is not in Valtournenche, it is in Maen, a very small village 10 minutes drive.
We went for half board but dinner is disappointing. I'm not a fussy eater and I didnt have high expectations but I could barely eat their food. It is very incredibly salty, very poor (pasta with pesto/ pasta with tomato sauce as main course?! ) and has no other flavour whatsoever. Well below any expectations! I understand that it is a low cost hotel but either dont offer half board or charge some more and provide some decent meals.
Central heating was non existent the first night. Room was nearly as cold as outside and no proper duvets just thin blankets provided. Went to speak to owner, he offered a smaller room so we moved. The second night was the same freezing cold. Spoke to owner again who tried to convince us that our room is warm enough - not impressed at all. After an endless conversation he agreed to tur the temperature up.
Overall skiing experience was great but I would not stay at this property again because of the above reasons.

Friendly atmosphere, excellent dinners, clean rooms, comfortable service to the ski lifts by minibus. The location is great for skiing in Valtournenche - Zermatt.
Breakfast could be more varied.
