Paradise place if you have spirit of adventure 😊

We loved the location, residential area, clean and safe, a bit far from the noisy and crowded areas. Of course you need a car to move wherever needed. But this is an island, max driving time is 30/35 minutes. The owner Diana was very polite and supportive for people who land in Bahamas for the first time, thank you!!

Not a problem of the apartment itself, but the local government is stopping the power supply on planned dates and areas for some hours… real nightmare if A/C or fan cannot be used

Lovely island to have a fantastic vacation

The property was in excellent condition. It is quite spacious and very comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely. We were warmly welcomed and felt as if at home. Stores and local eateries are a short drive away. The host was so friendly and very helpful to make sure that we had an enjoyable stay. We loved the island sights.

We had not done enough research preparation to realize the distance to downtown. So fortunate to have the property’s gracious host who arranged a ride for us to the supermarket, showed where some local restaurants were, and helped us obtain a rental car. Her service is above and beyond and greatly appreciated.

The real Nassau

Diana is a perfect host. She welcomed us as part of her family. She was always available to help with any question, providing anything we needed in the house and advising places to go and to visit. She even gave us a ride to some of them. She made our stay in Nassau memorable, despite we found miserable weather. The property is in a quiet neighbourhood, far from cruise ship crowd, close to the bus stop to reach downtown with public transport (30 mins with bus #15 or #11) , walking distance from a beautiful beach, 3 mins walk from a big supermarket.

Pleasant

Diana was pleasant and, on arrival, accommodating as she allowed for an early check in. Because we were early, they were still preparing the apartment for occupancy. We found the apartment very clean and quiet.

There was a misunderstanding with the keys and so on our first night we were locked out and had to call in a locksmith as we were unable to reach Diana (it was quite late!). We could not get the ac unit in the living room to turn on nor the television there and there was no notation that we could see for the wifi password. While we would have preferred instructions for these things to be given upon check in, we also concede that once we realised these things, we decided not to call Diana for assistance and just let it be. I have no doubt she would have accommodated.

Was almost like being at home.

It met our expectations; while the host was far and beyond helpful and kind. Quite enjoyable and we were treated almost like family. Very close to the super market and easy to catch the bus to downtown.

Could have used better water pressure in the kitchen.

We love the place!

Host Diana was extraordinary. she was helpful with local information , arranged rides for us with a neighbor, gave us a ride to Marina where we had chartered boat and was fun, gracious, and a real pleasure to deal with. bed was the most comfortable we have found anywhere.

we did not do any cooking but noticed kitchen was a little under supplied with pots, pans, and utensils.

I will definitely go back there on my next visit to Bahamas I won’t trade that for a hotel room

The place was clean n the hostess was so friendly n she make sure we was comfortable n the place was so quite n neat I wish we could have stay a little longer I really appreciate n enjoy my stay there thank u.

1. There was no television set up in the living room. 2. There were VERY LITTLE and out dated utensils. No complete China set. 3. No proper pots and pans.
