El hostal es perfecto para pasar unos días en Cusco. Zuzan la dueña es super amable y siempre lista para ayudarte con todo. Me ha hecho sentir como en casa durante mi estancia en su hostal!!
4.7
The host Zuzan was exteremely helpful howevet lots of things to be improved.
Fair value for the price.
Not clean,
not comfortable,
dump in the room,
only warm water no hot water,
location is way out of the center, you can walk but not that easy, 15 mins uphill

The room was super clean and tidy. Very. Comfortable. Free breakfast offered. The owner was very kind and tried her best to make the place like your home.
A bit difficult to find the location. It is better to communicate with the owner before arrival.
4.7
Nice helpful host. Great view. It had a heater. Good kitchen.
Not they fault but the water didnt work in the area for day. But they organized a bucket for the urgent use. So good quick save.
The location is a bit far away and you hear the train.
4.7
Great place, lovely owner. Amazing views.
Hard to find, not great to walk with bags. Hostel is up on a long, steep hill.
Can't call a taxi, they are only available down at the town.

The apartment was perfect for our stay in Cusco! It has much space and is very cozy, we immediately felt like home. The Balcony has a very nice view over Cusco and you have everything you need around. Susan is the perfect host and was very nice and helpful. If we ever come to Cusco again, we'd for sure stay here!

Zuzan was quite literally the best host I've ever had in many many years of travel. She's warm, welcoming and accommodating and makes you feel like you're at home when so far away from your own. Cannot recommend staying with her highly enough!
4.7
Lovely host, comfortable room, quite neighborhood but close to the center and a good breakfast every morning.
4.7
Lovely host, included breakfast (the host even made me breakfast after hours because she knew I was tired and wanted to sleep in), cute little bedroom. It is a bit far from the centre (although this is all relative as Cusco is very small - approx 15/20 minute walk).
Only downside was shower (no hot water and had to shower in a different bedroom to have hot water) and the VERY thin curtains that let light at 6am and woke me up. Would stay here again though, very good value and lovely host.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Salkantay very much and ended up staying 5 nights. The hostel owner Zuzan is very kind and helpful and we felt very much at home. Breakfast is simple but good. Easily reached from historic city center by foot.

the host is very helpful and caring!
the facilities like shower and door are a bit too old…

Comfortable bed.
Clean.
Spacious room.
Good breakfast.
Friendly owners.
A bit more on the outskirt of the city compared to other accommodations. But nevertheless still at a walking distance.

Very friendly owner, they did our laundry, they made us pre breakfast, because we had to leave early, you feel like at home.
Our bathroom didn’t have a window

Loved my stay there. Unfortunately, my Spanish is very poorly but the owner made an effort to translate everything into English via app. I very much appreciated that. I also liked that there was different breakfast every morning which she freshly prepared. The city centre is a 10 to 15 minutes walk away, so you can actually see something of Cusco on the way. The San Pedro market is very close and it's a must do in Cusco if you ask me. 😊

Super friendly, went the extra mile the day I was doing the rainbow mountain trek. I already a sandwich prepared by 4 am.
Quite close to Plaza de Armas.
Not that I didn't like, but the shower was a bit small.

The host was very attentive and kind.

Water in the shower was too cold

Zuzan is super helpful owner, she tried to satisfy all of our requests, very grateful for this. The location is not directly at the most busy place in Cusco city but this permit quiet night sleep, and it is still very accessible by foot. Breakfast is good as well.
Hot shower is sometimes limited and the water pressure is limited. (Seems to be a general issue in Cusco)

Zuzan left me hot water for tea, an avocado and a piece of fruit. Perfecto! She made sure that some of my belongings made it to Ollanta while I was trekking. Very helpful!
4.7
I felt super comfortable staying there, I could use all the facilities (incl fully equiped kitchen) and ask the host, Zuzane, any time i needed it.
The wifi worked perfectly, which was great since I needed to work for a couple of days too.
There was hot water, though it was a bit slow and pressure was a bit low.
It happened to be super cold during my days in Cuzco, but I wasn't cold during the night inside of the bed. I was, though, in the house itself. But Zu provided me with a blanket to wrap myself while in the kitchen or working.
The breakfast was fine, I would have liked a bit more but that's just because I eat a lot. But was offered couple of toasts with either egg or half avocado, and as much tea as I wanted. The days I went for tours, she made a packed breakfast.
I think the facilities need updating. Some parts are very old and damaged - such as the showers, the ceilings... With a bit of work it could look WAY NICER.

Cozy place at the edge of the city centre with a very nice host.

Wonderful hospitality,
Packed lunches for mornings we left early,
Stored our bags while we were checked out,
Booked taxis for our onward travel and pick up from the airport,
Loads of local advice
A bit of a walk outside of the town centre but only about 15 minutes

Welcoming host family. Convenient location to city centre. Helpful hostess.
