About this villa rental

Casa Elena is an apartment carefully restored and furnished with fine furniture, part of an ancient villa of the seventeenth century with the arches and columns. The spacious terraces overlooking the sea are the pride of the villa: one of these has a sea-view Jacuzzi. The location is strategic: the bus stop is just in front and the best restaurants are just a few meters away.

The property is organized on two floors.

FIRST FLOOR includes:

• Large terrace, sea view, including a table and chairs for six, deck chairs, barbecue, outdoor shower and Jacuzzi (all the year)
Please note: the pool needs about 24 hours to warm up.
• Panoramic patio, accessible from every bedroom and living room with table and benches for eating outside
• Large living room and dining area, with double sofa bed (160x190)
• Kitchen with dishwasher - not habitable
• Two large double bedrooms (bed size 160x190), with access to the front patios view
• Two bathrooms with shower

The UPPER FLOOR includes a loft area with two single beds (not joinable).

The house is easily accessible, located on the east side of Praiano with about 35 steps from the main road. It includes a fenced parking (for a fee) connected to the property.

On foot you can reach:
• Restaurants and bars
• Grocery Store ("Tutto per Tutti")
• Local bus stop and SITA
• Main beach ("La Praia", 20 minutes walk)

Beautiful inside and out. Gorgeous view. Beach within walking distance but highly recommend a taxi back… the uphill walk is challenging! Many restaurants to choose from. We did a boat tour which left from the beach area. Everything was very convenient! Highly recommend this villa and hope to return some day! Ciao

Check in was super easy and they were always quick to respond when I had a question. The unit is beautiful with a wonderful view from the balcony! We would absolutely stay here again!

Our stay at Casa Elena could not have been more perfect. Starting with our communication with Anna, whose patience and prompt responses when dealing with our 2 year COVID postponements was admirable, to Francesco, who was waiting at the villa for our arrival. He checked in with us regularly over our 12 day stay, providing any support and answers that we needed. As for the villa itself, an incredible view from both the veranda and the garden area, nothing but the sea! The location in Praiano is perfect, a charming, quiet and friendly area that was a perfect respite from our day trips to the busier areas along the Amalfi Coast. The local and Sita buses were easily accessed, and a car was not needed, not that there was anywhere to park in the busier towns. Lots of excellent restaurants, and a market just down the road made us glad we chose SMAAC and Casa Elena for our Italy trip.

This house sits up on a hill overlooking the water and has several outdoor spaces—a front porch with access to both front bedrooms and then a side terrace with a shaded dining area, hot tub, outdoor shower and grill. We were only there two nights but we tried to use as much of that space as possible! Norman was our contact person and he was very helpful in resolving some initial AC problems as well as our mishap with the washing machine. There is parking space which is very important because the streets are really narrow so we were glad not to have our car parked on the street. Praiana is a very pretty town and we enjoyed out time there in this great house.

Casa Elena è perfetta per una vacanza indimenticabile: la vista slu mare e sulla costiera è impagabile, l'appartamento è bellissimo, accuratamente restaurato ed estremamente accogliente, dotato di ogni comfort. Il giardino annesso, con il pergolato e l'area solarium con la vasca idromassaggio rendono il soggiorno piacevole in ogni momento della giornata. Il personale è disponibile, gentilissimo e di aiuto per ogni informazione. Suggerisco di potenziare il wi-fi, estendendo la copertura all'area pergolato + solarium.

Roomy house for our group of 5. The most beautiful terrace with amazing sunrises and sunsets. Well equipped kitchen. Washing machine was difficult to use and clothes were soaking wet when cycle was finished We could not get the water heated sufficiently in the hot tub.

We had an exquisite time at Villa Imperati and highly recommend staying here IF you don’t mind the 250 stairs from town center to your front door. The views were spectacular! The pool was refreshing! The sunsets were breathtaking!!! The only complaint we have is the WiFi could be spotty at times so it was difficult to communicate with our property manager for that reason. Overall, an amazing trip and that you to Norman for all he did for us during our stay!

Registering with the web site is very hard. Email communications were a bit confusing. First taxi did not turn up as when needed. Need more detailed info on local bars, restaurants and how to get back from the sea to the house would help eg provide printed details on local bus and taxi numbers,. Beds on top floor are not very comfortable

We loved staying both at this property and in Praiano itself. The management staff were extremely prompt in responding to communication and helping us arrange everything from transportation to grocery delivery. The outdoor furniture needed a little TLC, but other than that, we loved our stay at Casa Elena as 4 adults and 2 kids.

This is our second stay at Casa Elena and our 4th stay in Praiano. We love the area, sights, people, and the food. We come to Praiano because we like to live the life of the locals. Carmen and Norman were excellent in responding to my emails immediately helping me plan and answering any questions. I always book a year ahead. Excellent service. We brought our friends who had never been to the Amalfi Coast and they loved Casa Elena and Praiano.

This property is amazing, and so comfortable. Close enough to Sorrento for day trips and lots of shopping in the village. The Limoncello is wonderful and made in Priano. Carmen is a great hostess and very attentive to your needs. On site parking makes it easy.
