Great base for exploring Brighton

Great location and friendly staff. Good size room with plenty of space for four. Able to leave bags with reception

One side of the double bed (two singles together) was rather soft which made for a bit of a slope. Check in was later than advertised.

Le charme de la riviera anglaise

Chambre familiale au 2ème étage spacieuse et lumineuse, personnel très agréable, petit déjeuner correct. L'hôtel est apparemment en cours de restauration, le hall et la moquette jusqu'au 1er étage sont neufs et très jolis, le reste viendra sans doute et ça garde en attendant son côté "hôtel un peu vieillot mais plein de charme britannique".

Le parking juste en face est très cher, mieux vaut se renseigner sur un autre avant de venir

It was ok the beds were clean and comfortable,good location but needs a refurb. Would I stay here again……maybe

The location was great with an added bonus of a sea view

Very tired it could do with a refurb things like rusty towel rad,rusty toilet roll holder and broken shower head Breakfast could do with changing it was like something out of the 80s.tinned fruit only 2 choices of cereal and no plain yoghurts all a bit strange

De locatie

Het hotel na de receptie was slecht onderhouden, oud en niet overal even schoon. Het ontbijt viel erg tegen qua keuze. Verder ontbrak er wifi op de kamers.

Lovely beach front views with a decent hotel experience.

The hotel was so close to the sea front and easy to access. The staff were really lovely and the breakfast included was fabulous

It could have been a bit more cared for in terms of the rooms. The carpets were stained in our two rooms and the knobs of the radiator were missing to actually use it. The old fashioned lift was cute and functional but made some a little scared for those who had to use it for mobility reasons.

We recommend staying here and would stay next time we are in Brighton

The location was a good 20 minute walk from the train station, but right across from the beach is what we wanted. We had a view of the pier and ocean and a lovely breeze through the open windows. The bed was big and comfortable, the bathroom was modern, with good hot water pressure, the breakfast was very nice.

Beach Hotel is not for me.

Not sure to be honest. Maybe the breakfast.

Attic room was very, very stuffy. The worst bed I have ever slept in, or tried to sleep in. Metal sprung mattress creaking and groaning every time you moved. Had to bend your head, taking a shower, due to the low ceiling height. Room not made up for our 2nd night stay, but 2 out of four towels were exchanged. Narrow steep stairs and doors to get to the room. I can't speak for any of the other rooms, only that they were more accessible. If you stay here make sure you don't get room 46.

Hotel op goede locatie dicht bij diverse restaurants en winkelstraat.

De locatie en het uitzicht op de boulevard en zee. Daarnaast goede bedden en prima ontbijt.

Geen wifi en koelkastje in slaapkamer

Great location and friendly staff but the decor needs a massive upgrade and avoid the breakfast!

Great location and very friendly staff, clean.

Very dated, furnishings needed replacing. The bedroom was on the wonk and very creaky. The breakfast was repulsive, the worst I’ve been served (didn’t eat it).

It's ok for a weekend away

It's so close to all beachfront activities!

The lift is too small to take all your luggage up in one go. We were on the 4th floor. Stairs are so narrow to the 4th floor that you barely fit thru

Excellent hotel in a perfect location - I highly recommend The Beach Hotel in Brighton

The Beach Hotel in Brighton is an extremely good family friendly hotel. We felt very safe staying in this hotel. The hotel staff were all very courteous, friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with an excellent sea view, large comfy beds and very clean bathroom. The Breakfast Room was clean with friendly staff and an excellent choice of food. During the night the hotel was very peaceful with no unwanted noises to disturb our sleep. All round it's an excellent hotel in every respect. We will definitely stay at this hotel again next time we are in Brighton.

Wenn man direkt am Meer schlafen möchte - mega! Aber man sollte unbedingt renovieren.

Die Lage war perfekt. Direkt am Strand. Toll! Wie haben auch Adapter bekommen, weil wir unsere vergessen haben. Der Empfangsbereich war sehr schön und modern.

Das Hotel ist sehr alt und heruntergekommen. Es sollte unbedingt renoviert werden. Alte Teppichböden, schmutzig, alles schied und wackelig. Das Frühstück war ok, aber die Teller und Tische und das Besteck war alles schon sehr alt und dreckig. Es ist auch sehr hellhörig (Straßenlärm und Lärm aus den anderen Zimmern)

Pleasant and happy stay at the Beach Hotel, situated in a fantastic location very close to the i360.

Location was amazing, the staff were really friendly and happy. There was an amazing restaurant next door. The room is serviceable and clean. The soap and shower gel and shampoo were nice.

The windows were very small as we were in the attic space. However everything was neat and tidy and clean even if a little old fashioned. It would have been helpful to have some bottled water as the tap water was not safe to drink. The hotel warns you not to drink it. That said there was plenty of tea and coffee plus a lovely big kettle. The lift was old fashioned and fits a maximum of two people in. Once I got used to how it worked it was fine. It would not be good for a wheelchair user.

Great location, comfortable, but less secure than I would like.

The hotel is in a brilliant location. The rooms was clean and had everything in it that I needed.

The decor in the lobby was fine, but the room was a bid faded. The door handle was a shocker which as a single woman travelling is an issue.

Great location, common rooms are lovely but the rooms could do with updating

Staff were very friendly and efficient. The property is obviously going through a refurb and will be lovely once complete

The radiator in the very small en-suite bathroom was disgusting

Fabulous breakfast room, good selection of food. Nice coffee. Excellent shower in room. Good beach view. Good value. Clean.

very good location , expensive but worth it , comfortable

location / the breakfast was very good / the bed was very comfortable / the staff were accommodating and very pleasant

wifi only in the foyer NOT in the rooms / lift prehistoric - threatening to amputate fingers with the cage door and then a series of 4 doors to get to the room / no TV in the room / scaffolding all over the building

Good value for money. Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and was amazed as it was included in the price. Was expecting a continental but it was a full cooked breakfast

Lift was a bit dodgy and as we were on the 3rd floor we had to use it. Room was a bit small but it was adequate

Comfy and convenient.

The room was comfortable. Breakfast was available from 8-10am. Large bed. Room service available. Many hotels don't allow food in the rooms so this was nice. Restaurant very good seafood. A fan available in room.

It's a bit tired but good for 2 stars and the price. No internet in rooms is a BIG problem for me. Only in the lobby.

We had a basement room under the reception. But the reception area had wooden floors so the noise of the foot traffic keeps us awake. It needs extra noise insulation.

Family visit

The hotel was spotless and the staff were exceptional. Our room was roomy warm and comfortable with plenty of extra bedding if needed. Breakfast was very good with a varied hot and cold buffet menu.

Not one of their better rooms, furniture was a little shabby. The bathroom was tiny, and other rooms were much larger with baths
