Breakfast was very nice
Pillows were poor, bed was hard, shower was weak , no space to sit in the bar and have a drink, seemed they were more worried about their regulars than guests

Location and food were amazing

Great location! Lovely old inn with modern rooms. Excellent food.
Nothing - £145 B&B a bit pricey.
4.2
Lovely pub, great location, really friendly staff. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable beds, lots of parking, great walk to the coast.

Delicious breakfast. Good choices

location and nice staff, they were also able to cater for a gluten free vegetarian diet.
noise from kitchen.

it’s in a beautiful, quiet location with lovely views out to sea, across the fields. Inside, the hotel is comfortable and cosy - and we were lucky enough to have a huge claw-footed bath and fabulous monsoon shower in our bathroom, too. All the staff were friendly and we felt very well looked after.
The only thing I would say is that we could hear quite a lot of banging during the night / early hours. I think some cleaning and rearranging of furniture was going on and, with our room being situated over the bar and reception area, the sounds did disturb us.

Staff
Catered well for the dog
excellent food
room was extremely small and quite tired
also smelt very doggy, could have done with air fresheners to help

The service was always good in all departments and the meals were similarly good.
Lighting. Room size. Sound transmission between bedrooms. Very loose toilet seat in our room.
4.2
Good location. Comfortable and good food choices especially the breakfast.
Paid for a sea view and it wasn't. Room above bar a bit noisy. Allowed dogs in eating rooms which was not right hygienically.
4.2
Nice location good food very clean rooms
A bit expensive

Helpful staff.
The room was sweltering when we arrived - it was a very hot day - but perhaps curtains could have been drawn to avoid the worst of it. Two fans were provided and, once out of the sun, the room was cool enough to sleep.

Room was clean and well serviced. Staff did their best despite being understaffed.
In common with a lot of other catering establishments they did not appear to have sufficient staff which meant that service was a bit hit and miss. This however did not detract from a pleasant visit. It is stated it is a dog friendly place and true to it's word there were dogs everywhere including the restaurant !!
4.2
Very well located - within a half hour walk to the beach, which was only accessible by foot at this location so was quite quiet despite our visit being in the middle of summer. The room was in good condition, albeit a bit small, but fine for a couple.
The breakfast was not great - the hollondaise sauce was split both times I had a breakfast including this. Also service for both breakfast and dinner was very slow, so not great if you are short of time. The food for dinner was fine, portion sizes were very large, but it was very overpriced for the quality. Also there were lots of dogs in the dining areas and also staying in rooms, so may not be suitable if you have an allergy.

friendly staff snd dog friendly
it was all excellent

Lovely view from room, bed and bedding were very comfortable. Ample free parking. The breakfast was amazing, as was our meal in the restaurant on the first night. The coastline is spectacular.
Another shelf or a small cabinet in the bathroom would have been useful for toilet bags etc as there was nowhere in the bathroom to put anything. The meal on the second night in ‘the sail’ was disappointing.

Style of the inn decor was great.
customer service was good.
Steph was really helpful .. thankyou.
A comfortable stay, would stay again if cheaper.
We paid £490 for b&b, 2 nights, 2x people plus £152 for extras = £ 642 total.
Our evening meal was booked for us prior to arrival and we were asked where we wanted to sit, so we booked a table in corner for 1st night evening meal but when arrived to dine it was given to others without apology and got told we could choose anywhere else that was for 2 people ..... didnt impress us !!
Lots of Black mould in shower.
No fresh dry towels for following day. No heating on so couldnt dry towels in room.
Sea view didnt exist ... just saw car park bushes.
Advertised as views across marsh to the sea ..... perhaps yes in winter but certainly not now.
Hot Water seemed to take ages to come through, i showered in cold water 1st night.
Thought £17 for fish n chips was a bit high priced especially as fish was watery and batter was overcooked ..... reminded me of frozen fish in deep fryer.
£5 for a pint of draught bitter shandy and nearly same for bottled water was excessive too.
Dog didnt get his sausage breakfast, but not a deal breaker.
Extra for dog i read was £10 per night but we got charged £15 per night.
Having paid close to £650 in total for two for 2 nights B&B plus 1x night evening meal .... we ate out 2nd night ..... we expected a little more for our money tbh ( certainly a clean shower and fresh towels )
We would have been happy at £450 - £500 in total and felt thats what our stay was worth.
At £400-£500 we would stay again, but not at what we paid this time.
Sorry for the above feedback.

Room was very nice staff gave a very warm welcome and were friendly, the food quality was as good as my last visit.
The location is great for exploring the area with plenty of walks and a few minutes drive from Brancaster beach.
Nothing really, rooms.s were a little hot at night but the fan provided helped move the air about.
