Loved that there were not so many people due to smaller numbers of units. Made for a more personal experience. Did not feel crowded and sharing facilities was done with respect and enjoyable.
The beds were uncomfortable. Too hard and the double was only a double. In the heat much nicer to have a bigger master bed and generally softer all around. The smell from drains was not pleasant, but it was everywhere in Portugal.

Lovely place to stay. Good sized apartment for the 2 of us. Everything we could have needed was supplied. Nice small pool as well.
Would return again and this isn't the usual type of place we would stay.

Good value of money. You could just spend the day there and already feel like holiday.

A very nice place close to Lagos, ideal for families. Very quiet surroundings, swimming pool for the little ones to play, lots of space in the apartments. One can reach Lagos in 10 minutes (by car).
My bed was very hard
The location is close to Lagos, but unfortunately there is nothing around, that one can explore on foot, like a park or a beach or a promenade with shops/restaurants. Everything is in Lagos. So you are 'stuck' in the hotel so to speak - which is not necessarily a bad thing, especially if you have a car.

Inside photos obviously were taken from 4 different differently equipped apartments and were misleading therefore. We got not the best one. Definitely the worst stay during our vacation. I have been traveling a lot, though first time in Portugal, maybe that is a standard there, but:
Kitchen
Never have seen so barely equipped kitchen, just a very basic stuff.
Not even a grain of salt, to say nothing about anything else. Oil, baking paper, dishwashing liquid, sponge, whatever - you should take care on everything yourself. And very, very dark, just a poor lamp in cat's eye shine.
Bedrooms. As there are no conditioning anywhere you should open a window. But. There are no windows there. Just sliding doors. So, to refresh the inside you have to keep doors open during a night. One electrical socket in whole room where a night light is already plugged in.
Bathroom. We were 5. Amendments only for one person, except the towels.
We were all five were in same thoughts regarding the smell. Inside and outside as well, depending on wind.
I assume other apartments might be better, but it is as it is, our experience is strongly negative.

Everything was Perfect, the host Luís was amazing, he went above and beyond when he helped us when we had car problems, and throughout the stay he was Amazing with recommendations of restaurants etc to visit.
The only bad point was the beds being so firm, everything else was perfect.

The location is between Luz and Lagos. You can walk to both or catch the bus. There are no facilities like a shop that close.

Nothing
I will not recommend this property to anyone. The property has no Air conditioning, and when we requested the owner to provide a Fan, he did not offer any support. He said the weather gets better in the evening. The rooms did not have windows but a sliding door and that too without insect nets. We stayed here for 3 nights. On the first night, we opened the door and the house got full of mosquitoes which made our time miserable and we could not sleep the whole night and got bitten badly. We had to stay the other two nights without proper ventilation and in extremely hot rooms. This was so unhuman from the property owner. Worst property to stay. Please don't plan to stay here.

I was impressed by the owner's willingness to help me extend my time by another day to see the sights

The location is great if you are flexible with the car and don't want to visit just one beach or place but several. From here you can quickly get to Lagos or Sagres. Although close to the main road, it is nice and quiet. It is also perfect to relax there for a day and not drive anywhere. The pool is lovely for a refreshing dip and otherwise it was very pleasant and the flats spacious to relax in. The host is very nice and helpful. The furniture is old-fashioned but all in good condition. The mattresses are wonderful to sleep on and the kitchen is minimal but adequately equipped.
The problem with ventilation has been mentioned several times. The doors only slide open and cannot be tilted, which is unpleasant at night when you can't see who is walking by. We had a flat on the ground floor; it is certainly more pleasant to leave the doors open on the upper floors. There are fans inside, but they only circulate the air and create a breeze, not fresh cool air. The bathroom window was therefore the only source of air at night.

The place was beautiful and most importantly quiet. After many months of heavy remote work I wished for peace and quiet and I got it. I had a lovely and cozy apartment and the pool was very nice too. And so was the very well-cared garden and stones decorations around the garden which I have enjoyed looking at when reading outside - very relaxing. The owner, Luis, and his wife take great care of the place and you can see it and feel it. What’s more, Luis made sure I was comfortable right from the start and I received such a welcome I felt I was with friends, like at home. All in all, excellent, 10/10.

Booked last minute after our original accommodation was not as advertised and we were welcomed with open arms and made to feel so valued our whole stay. The apparent and pool were amazing
The beds were a little hard
