I enjoyed everything especially breakfast was great, each pool was very nice and I really appreciated gym witch is good equipped and clean.
Room was a little bit noisy due to windy weather outside one night.

Good selection buffet breakfast, quality good. Perfectly adequate. Nice pool, although you had to be quick in the morning otherwise no decent sunbeds left even though there were plenty of them. Hotel was full, I think! Second room we had was more roomy than the first one.
The location, far too commercialised for our liking. Annoying keep fit swim aerobics most days at 12.00 noon in the pool, with loud music! The first room we were given was like being in a shopping mall, surrounded by walls and stairs with no feeling of outside space on the balcony. This was a ground floor room which we changed for an upstairs as we use a balcony quite a lot and this was better and also next to our daughter who was also staying there. It was good of them to accommodate us in this respect as, I think, this room was probably more expensive.

The pool was large and the apartment layout worked well for our family (but quite small for 4 of us). Porto platainas was a good base for exploring Western Crete and we loved Chania and visited frequently. Great restaurants up the Hill set back from the main strip esp Astrea. The housekeeping team were great and kept everything clean and tidy. They were the hotel high point.
The hotel was not good value for money, definitely not 4* as very basic. Food was not great, felt sorry for people having to eat there all meals, we just had breakfast. It was expensive for what it was. Front desk were mixed, some staff ok others rude. It was just OK, nothing dreadful but wouldn't recommend to people. Wish we'd stayed in a cheaper 3* apartment instead and probably would have had friendlier and more classic Greek hospitality and saved £500+!

Swimming pool for adults, the possibility to go to the other hotel Porto, to the sea and to the swimming pools. Very large room, a studio in fact, with all the necessary facilities, everything clean and well set up. The location is located very close to the bus station and the central area of Platanias; you cross a street and in 200-300 m you reach the sea, many grocery stores, parking lots, tavernes.
I had half board, the food is basic, the same dishes every day, poor quality for a 4 star hotel. You cannot change towels daily at the pool. The shower door does not close tightly and the water is easily made on the floor after the shower (the drain is a little further back).

Room was spacious and offered some very great views to the village and the sea. Housekeeping staff friendly, they did their jobs very well and efficiently. When we arrived, there was a nice and friendly guy who carried our two rather heavy luggages to our room in the summer heat, this is what I call a 5-star service! Pool area very great, a big pool and many sunbeds. There's also a small Adults Only Pool in a different part of the hotel complex, if you prefer a more quiet area. Breakfast was excellent, everything they had was very delicious, and they had a very versatile selection. A special mention to the desserts, they had this amazing homemade pudding, 4 different flavours of ice cream, tasty cakes.. Couldn't have it better in my opinion! Location of the hotel is very good, right in the middle of Platanias, and if you want to visit Agia Marina, it's also very close. Central bus station under 200m away, and many restaurants and shops are just a few steps away. The main hotel, Porto Platanias Beach & Spa is also just across the street, and you can use their services & facilities as well. Overall a very great experience!
The bed, and also other furniture of the room were very creaky. I woke up a few times during the night to the sound of creaking when me or my family member were moving just a little. Nothing that big, but if you're sensitive to sounds then that could bother you, especially in the night. Also the check-out at 11:00 was a bit too early, especially since our flight was leaving in the evening. We tried asking for a later check-out, which understandably wasn't possible since it was high-season and the hotel was booked. At times there were staff at the reception that didn't seem to know much. When we tried to ask questions about the hotel, trips or amenities they weren't able to give us any answers, and we had to find the information ourselves. Please note that this was only one person, mainly the staff was very friendly and helpful!

The hotel exceeded our expectations, service was excellent and the size of the room was bigger than we thought! Would definitely stay here again! :)
Breakfast could have been more versatile, but it was great anyways :)

Our room was amazing, with two balconies and stunning view to the garden! The whole hotel complex is super charming, with small houses and beautiful plants. It's really perfect spot especially during corona as you can keep distance.
Everything was good

+ We were given a free upgrade to a lovely, big room with 2 balconies, overlooking the pool :) + The staff was super friendly and welcoming. + It wasn’t very crowded. + Even though the hotel wasn’t fully booked, the buffet was fully stocked with ample choices (breakfast as well as diner). + Free parking next to the hotel. + Vouchers for free sunbed rental at beach.

Food selection was good, even missed maybe some traditional stuff like musaka. Pools were big but could be warmer.
Personel in the reseption was not so service oriented and smiley

Very clean, extremely friendly staff, quiet but still on the main road. Very easy to get the bus from the airport.
Had to walk to the hotel across the road for reception so was a little more effort to get things but not a big issue.

The hotel consists of the two parts: Beach and Village Resorts. Village is cozier, during our stay (first week of September) there were not too many people, a lot of free sunbeds and tables in the restaurant. All inclusive food was good with a lot of drinks in the bar. We could use facilities of both hotels but we prefer to stay in the Village. Very friendly staff that were always able to help. The hotel is in very good location, with a lot of restaurants - suggest to go out of the main road, go uphill to the area of WWII museum where are local restaurants with excellent view. Bus to Chania stops 300 m from the hotel costs 2€, Taxi about 20€.

We loved the food and facility
WiFi was very week especially in the room and there was no comfortable space anywhere in the hotel to work - either no plugs, no table or weak WiFi.

- Staff service, - Environment, - Variety in breakfast, - Big pools and pool areas, - Variety of services, - Parking space sufficient, - Safety measures.
- Repeating same breakfast choices every day, - Small and not comfortable room and beds, - Average food and coffee, - Mass all inclusive approach which some people would like but not suitable for us.

They didn't changed our sheets.

Superior two bedroom apartment with 3 balconies with sea- and pool view was perfect for our family with 2 adults and 2 teenagers (in their own bedroom). The restaurant served great food (buffet) with a good variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The kids enjoyed the pool area and snacks in the pool bar.
The facilities including rooms, restaurant and outside areas were clean and maintained.
Friendly and helpful staff eager to solve any inquiry.
Great location in Platanias with walking distance to beach, shopping and restaurants.
Not at least free WIFI.
