Definitely a 10. Joseph, the owner and his team are top notch and service. You are welcome to the moment you arrive. We had very significant issues that had nothing to do with the Hotel. Joseph went to extreme lengths to help us resolve our issues. Totally unexpected and amazing. The rooms are perfect, spacious and clean. Breakfast has considerable variety and is tasty! The hotel is located in the.Goldgasse District, which is a walking pedestrian only area. This location is within walking distance to everything in old historic Salzburg.
Nothing at all comes to mind.

Super location in the city centre. We came by train so no need for a parking place. Modern and comfortable room. Very helpful and friendly staff.

location and charm and great breakfast
rooms are small and no tea:coffee in room. however the rooms are well designed and staff was super helpful and gave us a kettle but we did have to go hunt u tea bags and milk from super market. given that breakfast is at7:15 they should consider providing this in the room

Loved everything about this hotel! Fantastic location in the old city center yet perfectly quiet at night, I slept very well. The room (I had a superior plus room) was spacious and clean, breakfast had everything I wanted, and Medhat & team were very kind and helpful. I will certainly stay here again when I visit beautiful Salzburg again!

The breakfast was amazing. The made to order coffee was outstanding. We were sad to leave! If we visit Salzburg again, we will definitely stay there.
We had no complains

The location is great! Right in the literal middle of Old Town. The breakfast buffet and hot offerings were good.
Because it's in the middle of Old Town finding it was a little bit of a challenge in our car. You can't drive into Old Town so you have to call the hotel from the gate and get a code to enter before you can drive in. You can't park in Old Town so after dropping off our luggage we had to take the car to a parking garage and walk back to the hotel. It worked out but was confusing. Also, our room was small and very minimalist. At first we didn't like it but it grew on us and ended up being fine.

Excellent location is best feature. Staff are friendly and rooms small but clean and comfortable and well appointed.

Thanks a lot, Hotel am Dom.
Everything was perfect! Location, staff, food.
This hotel is a perfect place! It is difficult to find something better than this hotel, we think. All depends from the hospitality of the whole staf there.

Boutiquehotel am Dom is a hidden gem in a perfect quaint location. We were a 10-20-minute walk from all of our destination spots (some were found by accident). The owners greeted us with a smile every time we walked in and always willing to help us with our questions. Even our initial electronic communications prior to arrival, were prompt and clear including directions, maps, expectations, etc. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious including fresh eggs made to order; a great way to start the day. The room was clean and quiet; you would never know they were fully booked. We would totally recommend this hotel to our friends and family.
I don't have any complaints or recommendations for improvement.

Family owned very friendly place. Location right in the middle of the old part of town. As the name shows right next to the Dom and very convenient for sightseeing and concerts.

I flew in from West Africa for my first visit to Austria and my daughter chose & made all arrangements so I hadn’t a clue. The hotel is tucked into a quiet cul de sac, within walking distance of everywhere interesting. I slept like a log in a comfy bed (it wasn’t stuffy) literally beneath a tree (love the ceiling beams). Brigitte & the entire team were very welcoming & helpful: for everything (directions, adaptor, restaurants etc). Don’t miss breakfast - a great selection & value for money. I came to Salzburg for the Sound of Music tour but I’d come again just for the hotel.
Once I reported that the tv remote control didn’t work properly they were quick to resolve it.

great location , good breakfast , nice hotel
would prefer to have tea and coffee making faculties - really missed being able to make a cup of tea or coffee first thing in the morning and before going to bed.

It has the best location possible, super comfortable, clean, the staff/owners were extremely nice and thoughtful and it has a great breakfast. Beautiful building as well

Best location in old town, just 5 minutes walk to the Dom, St. Peter’s Abbey, the funicular, Mozart’s house. The interior decor is very thoughtful and modern yet elegant. Saima and Britta are brilliant innkeepers who will take care of every detail to make your Salzburg stay most memorable. This boutique hotel is on a famous cobblestone street in the heart of old town. We took a taxi from the train station and it was 12.40 euros by meter—though the hotel is in a pedestrian zone, taxis can drive in. There are restaurants, cafes, bakeries, Mozart chocolate shops galore. If you need a break from Austrian cuisine, try Do Do’s around the corner for noodle soups or curry. You know how you get that “weak security” message when you sign into most hotel’s wifi? Not here—this hotel uses Apple wifi. Even though the Dom church is just a few steps away, don’t worry about losing sleep when the bells ring out because the double windows make the room completely soundproof. If you are going to Salzburg to see the historical sights, don’t even think twice about it—just book this hotel and enjoy your visit!

Perfectly located for the sights and sounds of Salzburg, this hotel is a little slice of heaven. We arrived a few hours earlier than the advertised check-in time, but that was no problem, and we were even given a choice of rooms. Staff were beyond exceptional; always friendly, informative and helpful. We have a feeling we will return, and this is where we'll be staying.

Simon was soooo amazing as our host. I hope I have his name right. He cooked, gave directions, held my crying grandson, provided dinner suggestions, helped us with our luggage and so much more.
