Parking space for the car was safe. The Oldtown was reachable within two minutes on feet. Many places to eat around. Room was clean and warm. The coffe was good. All in the place is great.
Maybe the scrambled eggs could have been cooked a little bit more. But in together breakfast was good.

Great location, nice breakfast and a secure place to store our bicycles.
9.0 / 10.0
The reception and check-in was very efficient. The receptionist directed us to their secure bike storage and then gave us plenty of information about the hotel and upcoming local events. The rooms were modern and well appointed, although a bit small. In the present heatwave, it remained reasonably cool and there was adequate window ventilation, but no fan. The breakfast was delightful, with a complete range of foods across the extensive buffet. The breakfast staff were professional and efficient. The location was close to the restaurants in the central area of Bad Mergenthiem.
No real complaints about this modern and well run establishment. We enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast Buffet exceptionally good. The staff very friendly and helpful.
Car park a bit difficult.
8.0 / 10.0
The breakfast buffet is the best we had on our entire trip through Germany. The selection and variety of fruits, cereals, cold cuts, cakes/pastries and condiments were exceptionally delicious and very well presented. Everything was season fresh. The staff was extremely polite and helpful and nothing was too much to ask.
The rooms were very warm over the warm German summer nights.

The television and shower were the worst issues. Also, it says that washing machine is included, but owner tried to charge me 5 Euros to use it (in a very arrogant way). What is strange because in the previous day when I went to check how to use it, the receptionist told me it was for free and he would even give me the soap to put there. I ended up using laundry service somewhere else

My family had a total of three rooms for this stay in my grandfather's hometown. We were very happy with our accomodations; the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space. The breakfast was excellent - what a selection of foods! The hotel was very careful to keep its patrons safe from Covid by asking them to remain masked when they were in public places, except when they were eating. I would gladly stay there again.

Breakfast was excellent: a large variety of very tasty things, also freshly made.
The room had a very dry air, which prevented from sleeping well.

Location at the centre of the village, parking next to the ain entrance.

The location was very good. In the old town. The room was very quiet. We could also park our car in the parking lot of the hotel. We had booked one room with 3 beds but got a a 2 room apartment with two double beds without increase in price. The breakfast was very well organized and was delicious and fresh. All considering special hygiene regulations because of pandemie
We liked everything

-The breakfast was quite tasty
- Employees (except older man) were quite friendly and helpful
- central location
- Room was uncomfortably hot
- Bed was really uncomfortable
- One employee (an old man) was quite rude to us. When we checked out (with a female employee who was very kind), we asked if we could leave our car a couple hours while we walked around the city. She said no problem at all and that we could also use their bathroom when we returned, so we took her up on her offer. When we exited the bathroom, this old man we never saw during our stay started interrogating us. "Excuse me, are you guests of this hotel?!" I said yes and he looked shocked and angry - clearly he didn't believe me. "Oh really? Where exactly?" And I gave him our room # and explained we had checked out just two hours before. He didn't have much to say after that but it left a really unpleasant feeling to our stay.

Nice, very traditional german hotel with a genius loci. Nice old racing cars picture in the room. The friendly hotel personnel in the best traditions and stable for many years. Located few meters from the city centre but still easily accessable with car and providing good and partially covered private parking.
The eqipment is getting older a bit but still OK. I just do not like the curtain covering the shower bath.

The hotel room that we were in was large and comfortable. The hotel breakfast was very good. The hotel itself was located within walking distance from the major sites in Bad Mergentheim. The city itself was an unexpected gem that did not have the feel of being designed to extract as much money as possible from tourists. I would recommend making this town your base for exploring the area instead of Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
The only issue with the hotel room was that there were almost no cooking utensils in the kitchen. The kitchen was nice, but if you wanted to cook, you had to bring your own pots, pans, etc. etc.

The staff/owner made a good dcision. We booked a quad room and would like to change to 2 twin rooms later. She managed very well and we needed to pay more just a little. Very reasonable. Love this hotel.
The weather is quite warm. No air-condition.
