Everything clean. I like it
Liked everything

The location plus the heritage aspect of the hotel
The longbath was clogged. The toilet was faulty with its flushing.
Overall very happy.
2.9
The room was clean, bed was comfortable, hot water and it was easy to find with parking right outside. Some friendly staff.
Some of the staff were very unfriendly and made it very uncomfortable when I booked in. General upkeep is a little lacking and tired.
2.9
location, sizeable rooms
it’s not cleaned very well, l had what looked like cereal on part of the wall, stair carpet has so much tape holding it together it’s a trip hazard, the whole place is tired and borders on grubby

lovely old building good for early train next morning. good value for money

across from train station
big lady on the desk in the day was rude. not helpful whatsoever didnt explain why I couldn’t pay with my phone. didn’t give me hotel number to communicate

Breakfast and dinner were basic but pleasant, and the dining room a welcoming space.
The room I had been given overlooked a car park, was painted dark red and smelt strongly of lavatory disinfectant so it was changed to a triple room facing the front that had a comfortable double bed.

Good for the price
Mattress and pillows were very firm

Very little to recommend. It's cheap but feels it too.
Staff were disinterested and terse.
Room wasn't cleaned during my stay.
No fan in very warm room.

absolutely nothing!
the room was cold. heating apparantly didn’t come on till 11pm! bedding was not clean with black bits, mould, hairs in the beds. no phone in room so up and down the stairs to complain. cemented on coffee to the desk. a trade event with booming rave type music resonating throughout the entire hostel. food was a dried up buffet of pasties, chips and curry. the decor is dated. the walls are lumpy as though covering up damp. this hotel is really quite awful. we got a refund and booked elsewhere!!

Absolutely nothing, such a disappointment.
Again I did not like anything about the property and the stay very dirty and not acceptable at even £1 a night

They were overbooked and so we had ro find another hotel.
We did not see past the libby

Very clean.
Very dated. No views from the room apart from rooftops covered in bread to feed pidgeons.. I had to repair tv aerial as tv didn't work. Breakfast was not very nice.
2.9
Ease from the train station.
First room offered had water running down the wall, flickering lights and we were above the band for a wedding.
Second was better but iron burn on the carpet and lino pulling up in the bathroom. Wood rotting round door frame and window frames. Bird poo and feathers just inside the window where it had been left open.

Handy to motorway
Clean room comfortable bed

It was a very brief stay of less than 24 hours and I booked room only so apart from the fact that the facilities were comfortable and I had a nice drink in the bar at the end of the day there's not a lot to say
No negatives
2.9
Nothing, rooms were disgusting. Not clean, dusty, old and uncomfortable. Broken windows
Everything.
Photos did NOT match what we saw

Check in to 2330. Sepatate beds, nice building. Helpful personal, free parking in front of hotel.
2.9
Good value for money
Safety bed room door locked however, with force door could of been opened. Noisy at night time when trying to sleep our room wasn't close to the road it was other occupancies around us at the time
2.9
The bed was very uncomfortable

The staff are lovely as always. This is my home from home in Stoke and I feel very comfortable here. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the city and yippee I had a fan this time and the window opened wide.
The breakfast is too expensive now. I can't eat £12 worth of food.
2.9
Appalling room, stained carpets, very poor decor- the hotel is shabby and in need of a major upgrade (a good lick of paint would help for starters)
2.9
hassle free, v pleasant staff, bed v comfy
lack of wifi and complex wifi purchase
2.9
Really helpful young lad on reception
Dirty, dingy, tatty, in desperate need of a good clean and a lick of paint
