Everything is just perfect. Lovely garden, nice staff, cosy villa with daily room services and great atmosphere for families.
Tslivi is a great base for some nice family beaches and good restaurants.

Room size is good, everyday they cleaned the room without asking, staff is helpful
it is remote to popular beachs , each day we travel around 40-45 minutes one way . Bathroom design is not good, after shower it is staying with full of water.

Everything! The food, the swimming pool, the cottage, the staff.. honestly nothing to improve. Specially travelling with little kids we would absolutely recommend Paliokaliva! Defenitely coming back:)

Really friendly, helpful staff. Lovely apartment. Quiet location but easy to get around local area.

Staff were absolutely amazing, such a beautiful place, we loved it so much they really get to know you. Small, quaint place with beautiful flowers
The only downside was that there were lots of young kids, it didn’t seem a place to take young children when we booked, it seemed very relaxed, posh but this is no fault of the hotel!!

The Palio Kaliva village from the outside looks exactly like in their pictures - idyllic and picturesque. The stone houses, the flowers, the tables and sun beds by the pool all look very nice. However, both the facilities and overall experience there were really lacking.
The place is much more suitable for families with young children and babies rather than for any other configuration of travellers. We feel that it should advertise itself as such for everyone’s awareness. No matter how much you love children, you will feel a bit overwhelmed at Palio Kaliva: the swimming pool is usually filled with children and their parents along with water toys offered by the property, same for the sun beds by the pool.
There was a faint, unpleasant smell in our room coming from the bathroom. We tried to air the room as much as possible to get rid of it. The TV in the room was pretty much the size of a laptop screen and the remote control was not matching, we could turn it on from the controls on the screen but could only find one channel and this was in Greek. The Wi-fi doesn’t work well at all. The bed was really uncomfortable (main mattress + a thin one on top of it) and squeaking loudly at every turn.
The restaurant is not great and breakfast is less than average for 9.50 euros: white (toast) bread with a sweet taste, no other option available (plain bread or, even better, wholemeal bread) even if you asked for it; you can only choose between filter coffee and tea (no espresso option, etc); on the last day we went on a trip and asked reception the night before whether we could have a light breakfast earlier than usual, they said yes but the following morning the person at the bar said they could not even offer us a coffee (the coffee machine was in front of us though) let alone a slice of toast with some jam or cheese.
For a 20km trip by taxi, they quoted a price that was 10 euros higher than what we paid eventually (by arranging the transfer with a different hotel). I should say that they don’t operate the transfer themselves but only work in partnership with taxi firms.
Overall, we won’t be coming back to Palio Kaliva Villas.

Staff was really friendly and the Ambiente was really cozy and stylish.
Definitely a lot of (nearly just) families - therefore a lot of kids in the pool all the time
No alcohol left in the evening (eg ouzo or wine)

Really Nice and clean place. The staff was really kind and the food fantastic

Peaceful area, beautiful villa/garden, great for kids, friendly people and good service
Beach is quite far by foot, no problem if you have rental car of course. Many mosquitos first night

I liked everything! It was just perfect! From breakfast to dinner great food and great service! Everything is so beautiful and clean! The apartment is beautiful and the bed is so good that you just want to stay in bed a bit longer! Best place we have been in years of lots of travel!
Nothing! All was perfect!

Every detail is taken care of! Room, garden, swimming pool and restaurant are super nice. The full staff is very kind. Rooms are very clean, restaurant has a large choice of good dishes. Position is adapt to visit the full island and far away from the most noisy places.
Please consider it’s a village adapt to families...that’s why you can find a lot of children.
