Excellent location , helpful staff, good breakfast.
Rooms were very tired.
Parking described as on site was not , it was at a separate location.

Gratis parkeren, vriendelijk personeel, goede ligging, gratis thee/koffie/fris gedurende verblijf
Bed was smal, oncomfortabel. Gedateerde kamer/meubilair

Staff went out of their way to make us welcome as we arrived late at night

Pan cakes were too good !
The breakfast was too slow. It took too long to be served. And when it arrived it looked it was split into two. We ordered simple scrambled eggs.

Ideal location next to the Portal Nigra and the Market place.
Hotel rooms in need of upgrade. Cleanliness was shoddy. Floor had a big tangle of black hair that had been missed and other bits had been missed.
Contrary to the hotel info there is only a breakfast room. No restaurant on the premises.

The hotel is located just in the old town, within a hundred yards or so of the Black Gate.
The rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel offers a good breakfast.
The staff are also extremely pleasant and helpful and in our case they needed to be.
We had booked for one night, but due to a motorcycle breakdown we were stuck in Trier for over three weeks and they managed to provide accommodation, extended almost on a daily basis, for the full time.
For any other bikers out there, there is a motorcycle parking area right in front of reception.
There is nothing to dislike.

Great location and room was excellent. Only lacking tea making facilities which I usually find in other places. Free soft drink on arrival was nice though.

Perfect location for our needs. Central with free hotel parking. Our room was perfect for our needs. Love the ambiance of the hotel & the staff were very helpful, friendly & professional.
Nothing really...everything was quite satisfactory & we'd come back again, for sure. We would also recommend.

The location is amazing. Could not be closer to the sites. Basic room, was clean, had free sodas and cold water. Friendly staff. Was very good for a nights stay.
A bit old but not a problem for our type of trip.

Bath was bigger than expected. The location is perfect. Breakfast is good, everyone gets his own egg - different kinds.
Room is OK. For all who say the interior is too old. I am travelling for visiting points outside, so it is not important for me, if there is a older wooden wardrobe.
Not special point knwon.

You can’t get a better location. We had a balcony and good size room.
No AC. Breakfast is overpriced. And be sure you know what you are booking because the beds do not move.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was excellent and good value for the selection.
The staff did not know there was a 24 hour restaurant nearby. I found it eventually myself eventually but it would have been helpful if they had told me when I asked. I arrived late at the hotel and was hungry so was looking for something to eat after 11 pm at night.

The room was good, with a nice view of rooftops and, because we were on the 6th floor, a skylight in the bathroom which was great. Lovely location, able to hear the church bells. Right on the main tourist area, across from the Porta Nigra - perfect.
Would have wanted a little more desk space. Had to move the TV and phone to get space for the laptop. Otherwise all was great.

The location from the train station is roughly 5-7 minutes which is great! The location to the Christmas Market is roughly 5 minutes, as well as proximity to other local restaurants or the grocery store. We truly enjoyed the staff and were very welcoming upon arrival. We enjoyed the spacious room and how beautifully rustic it all was. The bed was large and the bathroom was lovely. Very quiet, and did not feel like I could hear anyone else around us at night! Very good value for the space! You can purchase the breakfast for roughly €12 a person. The breakfast options were okay, nothing too special, however you could order eggs, omelette or a pancake which took roughly 5 minutes to get during a slower time. Overall, the stay was wonderful and the town was beautiful to see, especially during the holiday season.
Nothing major comes to mind!

The location, free parking, good WiFi, cleanliness, quality of bedding and towels.
The hotel restaurant menu was lacking, so we ate elsewhere. To be fair, footfall was so slow we wondered if it paid them to open.
Oh, the toilet; we HATED it. You could view your daily deposit!

After a few drinks the beds are like clouds.

Location is very good at the center of Trier, everything is in walking distance. Parking lot is 200m from the hotel. Room is clean and shower is good.
The noise of the traffic, the hotel is located at a busy road. Blow dryer was very old and broken. The replacement one was very dirty.
Breakfast is not included an costs 14.50 Euro p/p. Coffee is really bad quality. Bathroom floor was really hot and you can't control the temperature. Overall the rooms are outdated but clean.

Good location and staff
Had trouble finding the parking lot based on employee description, and got a costly dent in rental car as a result.

Everything was perfect
