Very comfortable hotel, nice staff but 8 steps to access a lift? Crazy!

The beds were super comfortable and the staff were very helpful and pleasant.

We were very disappointed to discover there were 8 steps needed to access the lift. We are nearly 80 now and I have severe COPD which makes it very difficult to drag up suitcases to access the lift. We are always very careful to choose hotels with lifts, this hotel had one but did not disclose the 8 steps needed to reach the lift.

Posizione ottima Personale gentile e disponibile, camere pulite, bagno leggermente piccolo ma per il prezzo andava bene così Ho soggiornato qui già due volte

A really enjoyable stay at a great location with easy access to metro and busses

Location of the Hotel is superb. In walking distance of major attractions, as well as the waterfront. Bus stops and metro are directly near the hotel. Even carrying all my luggage, it was "no sweat" to reach the metro. The beach is reachable in some walking distance. I did walk by it to look, but did not otherwise visit the beach. Room was very clean and serviced daily by very attentive staff. There was someone at the front desk 24 hours. Breakfast is not served by the hotel, however, the adjacent cafeteria served simple and cheap breakfast, which I frequented daily. There would have been other options for breakfast nearby as well.

It did not bother me, but here was some noise from the street even at late hours. Persons susceptible to noise might find this disturbing.

Excellent stay with close proximity to bus and train and metro

Morning receptionist was very helpful and looked after us. She also new a bit of English that helped in our communication.

I couldn’t sleep on the worn out bed and their was a party in the next room at 2 am, took a long time for staff to stop

We stayed one night, and was comfortable.Also we had some English TV channels unlike in other places

All was good. We had a large Room.

No Coffee/Tea maker in the Room. Also the detachable Shower head kept falling off it's socket.

This was our second stay - very good hotel at a great price

The hotel is in a perfect location, just off the main thoroughfare. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Under the hotel is a very nice cafe, perfect for coffee and breakfast. The location is good as it is right near to the main city centre, but also is part of a quiet neighbourhood, so it is perfect to go for a drink or food if you want to spend some time away from the main tourist area

it’s location. it is situated right in the heart of a buzzing crowd. the staff are very friendly and helpful.The beds are very comfortable.

because of its central location, you can hear the municipal cleaning services driving to and fro, the homeless speaking very loud in the streets. this may keep you out of your sleep.

Great place to rest your aching body in central Malaga!

Castilla Guerrero is an excellent place to rest your tired head and body after a hard day! The staff are very helpful too.

Could do with a free breakfast since they have a bar/cafe next door anyway!
