Quite location in the park behind the Certosa di Ferrara within walking distance to the city centre.
Safe parking on site. Nice lady behind the desk doing everything.
The rooms are not very sound proof. You can hear every move and talk in the rooms next door in the middle of the night :-(
The air conditioning could not be regulated. We had to switch off the central electric supply in order to switch off the air conditioning during the night. The breakfast is not worthy of this place and not worthy of Italy... The orange juice is some chemical liquid, the croissant is one of those industrial made one, the cheese is the one used for hawaian toasts...the one wraped up in plastic. Awful... Just disgusting... Cappucino nothing special... The supermarkets now (Esselunga) have better products than that. We would have been better off without breakfast or going to some random bar in the city... Really bad publicity for Italian food for foreigners...

We had a room with terrase and enjoyed the garden/park of the villa. The historic rooms are completely renovated and with modern Equipment. The hosts were very friendly and served us a really great breakfast with a lot of different fruits. We stayed one additional night because we found the place very relaxing. All the sightseeing highlights are not far away 5-10 min. by walk, 2 min. with our bicycles.

The property is very beautiful, in a green, quiet area within walking distance of the center of Ferrara. The staff was super friendly and helpful and even upgraded us to the best room with a balcony at no extra charge. The rooms have all the amenities and the furnishings are a mix of modern and rustic. Breakfast was very good and ample.
Nothing, it was perfect!

Staff is exceptionally welcoming and the place itself is astonishingly beautiful. The room was warm, cozy and everything was there for an excellent stay. Breakfast was rich and tasty, parking was no hassle and the location is perfect. I can’t recommend this place enough

This property is full of character: high ceilings, big windows, beautiful gardens. It's really peaceful, but also not far from Ferrara city centre. The breakfast selection was good, and served with a smile. The staff were more than helpful. I had a comfortable stay and thought the value for money was good.
The soundproofing between some of the rooms isn't all it might be. On one or two nights of my stay other guests were up late partying and I heard much more than I'd've liked.

The building, the grounds and the room were very nice: lots of character and charm, very light and airy, and carefully renovated.
Very long wait for an ordinary breakfast (over 20 minutes to bring slices of bread to the table, for us to toast).
Most of the garden furniture was dirty - looked bad and could not be used.
Shower and toilet had glass walls, not everybody would be happy (and you have to close the curtains of the room to use the shower).

Very nice aristocratic mansion in a romantic garden. The location is outside the city walls but within easy walking distance to the very center of town. Our room, which seems to have been the main central (honeymoon) room with a balcony to the front, was gigantic and decorated in a modern fashion with good taste and style. The only disadvantage was that the bed is located upstairs directly under the roof, so it got rather hot during the night (admittedly with record temperatures outside during the whole week). Our stay was only for one night so we couldn´t really use all the facilities and options. As we also had to leave early in the morning, we couldn´t try the full breakfast, which looked very nice on the neighbouring tables. All in all a very good value for money.

Excellent location. A walking distance from the historic center (15-20' with young children).
The breakfast was very good.
You have to be very patient if you want to take a bath (almost a jacuzzi).

Nice room and bathroom, clean, very bright room. Wifi, airco working fine.
Good location, in the green and within the city walls. Easy to reach Piazza Ariostea, and the city centre around Castello Estense the cathedral isn't that far either.
Breakfast had to be ordered from a menu in English and Italian, which was not always easy. With sottilette / cheece slices I did not expect plastic-wrapped slices of cheese. But cheese, cured meats, eggs, fruit, yoghurt were available.
