Very helpful and friendly staff, close to town. Rooms perfect functional consistent with what you’re paying.
In the evening there was very heavy smell of cigarette smoke inside communal areas on way to rooms.
5.0
Great location. Right next to the museum of architecture plus only a 3 min walk to Tom’s of cages and restaurants. The owner/operators were amazing. They were so kind and willing to help in any way. I’d stay there again just because of the amazing staff alone. Loved it.
Small TVs but who cares bc we’re in Greece.

The location was good
The staff were very rude and quite annoying. The room was smaller than the pictures with very limited amenities.
4.5
Lovely family feel with friendly people working there.
The bed was amazing, best of the trip.
Nice sized room, lovely and fresh.
Good lighting, so you can see properly.
Shower a bit tight for my fat arse - my problem not theirs
It's near a busy road so you do need the French windows kept shut to block it out in the morning, but the AC means you're not going to sweat.

the family that owns and runs Doukissa are so friendly and accommodating to your needs. A short walk to restaurants. Very nice breakfast!

I agree with other reviews. The staff were very kind and helpful- Doukissa (I believe one of the owners), Theodura (afternoon host) and I'm sorry don;t remember the name of the AM desk attendant and breakfast host. Wonderful to converse with. It's steps from the Archeological Musuem (worth a short visit for 2 E), meters from the Church of 1000 windows, and 5-7 minutes walk to shopping and dining. The room was ample, clean and charming.
I disagree that it was a noisy road- central Parikia would be much worse.
4.5
Very caring and helpful staff - Doukissa really stands out in this regard. Location is also great - 2 mmins to old town, 5 mins to harbour. Hotel is very tidy and well kept.

Everything except road noise.
On a very noisy road and you sometimes can’t hear yourself think, makes sitting on the balcony not a pleasure as it should be. As this is a big part of what we enjoy when on holiday we wouldn’t use the hotel again.
2.5
There seemed to have clean room.
There was a very old TV monitor with local channels.
no plugs beside the bed
The toilet is very old and needs renovation.
The electricity was cutoff in the middle of night while the temperature was really high and though the hotel was accepting clients they refused to change our room. The owners of the villa live in the house and they had their room's light on.It was very hot hours with an AC turned off. They had no alternative plan for electricity.
we opened the balcony but it was very humid and with street view the cars were very loud.
instead of having breakfast already served on the table, they serve portion by portion. They try to control by asking you to consume less water and not to lower AC temperature.
The curtains are very transparent. No privacy.
We wouldnot come back.

The room was fantastic, well composed and clean.

Doukissa, her mother and all the team are simply the best. Super helpful, polite and welcoming. We got a room with the rooftop, with probably the best sunset view in Parikia. Breakfast is also a must, really well served. Reommend Doukissa hotel for everybody.
nothing - all perfect

Very comfortable hotel. It has AC 👍🏻
The service is excellent and so are the breakfasts.
Amazing people are working there 😍 The small balcony is very cosy and the hotel itself is close to the port
the bathroom is a bit old, the shower isn't exactly comfortable.
There were two beds put as one what makes it less comfortable.
4.5

breakfast is quite basic
5.0
The staff is very nice and helpful, everything is very clean and breakfast is big enough for you to enjoy a long day at the beach without having to stop for lunch too early.
The location is also very good, very close to the Parikia port and less then 10 minutes away in a very nice walk to lots of stores and restaurants. You can also walk to a couple of beaches that are not the best in the island but are definitely good enough if you just want to go somewhere nearby.
The bathroom is a bit small and sometime next you can hear people walking in the corridors or closing the doors in other rooms but nothing that bothered us.
4.0
Comfortable room, nice breakfast. Quite close to center.
Unrenovatef bathroom really ugly with tiny shower and wraparound shower curtain. Try to get room with renovated bathroom. Service could be better- no water bottles in rooms or free transfers to port. Afternoon attendant rather indifferent.
4.5
Friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the rooms and location.
The mattress was very firm and we’d love to see less use of single-use plastic. Otherwise we were extremely satisfied.
3.0
Clean spacious rooms
Back rooms next to very busy road. Water takes forever to get warm. Room 29 extremely bad, noise terrible.

The ground floor with its reception area, comfortable sofas and elegant breakfast seating, is a beautiful and very welcoming space. Our balcony had its own sun canopy and views of the sea across a grove of pine trees. Exceptionally friendly and helpful service from the owner and her daughter
The only slight blemish was the shower which relied on a shower curtain

A beautiful hotel right in front of a pine park

What a lovely family ! They couldn’t do enough to help. Our ferry was two hours late which meant we arrived at just before 1:00am. The lady in charge was exceptionally helpful despite the inconvenience we had caused her. We couldn’t have asked for a better welcome or a better location. The beds were extremely comfortable too. I wish we had booked another night here.
The shower could have done with being updated. They have already started to update some of the rooms.

amazing hotel and super friendly staff. totally loved it. the room was very beautiful, recent renovated and super clean.
a bit noisy at night due to the main road behind the hotel

- location (centre of Parikia, yet in a quiet spot)
- friendly and helpful staff
- sound isolation could be better
- breakfast could be more varied
