Nice room, property was close to the beach.
I stayed 3 nights and I have NO water one day and the other day NO power. I understand this can happen in CR, but for the price they should have back up generator and water supply. I was told they do have back up water but the pump was not working. When I asked about extending my stay for one night at a discounted rate, they would only give a very small discount. I felt they should have been more willing to work with me considering 2 out of the 3 nights I did not have water and/or power.

Rafa out host was very responsive and helpful! The staff work hard every day to keep the place neat and tidy. The pool was beautiful and very clean. The location was very close to a nice surf break and Rocamar for easy food and drinks.
The location, while beautiful, was right on the road so there was a lot of traffic noise. The showers in the rooms look lovely, but due to not having doors get water all over the bathroom and can cause some slipping danger.

Great location. The four bungalows created an oasis. Loved having the kitchen to make breakfast in the mornings. Pool was an added bonus.

we were the only ones staying there
the staff was creepy, always lurking and staring, force us out of the pool

We moved from another accommodation to Blue Surf Sanctuary after deciding that we wanted to spend out last week somewhere nicer! This place did not disappoint. Its in a perfect location, and even though its located near the road, I found since its on the north end of the strip, it wasn't too bad and wasn't bothered by any traffic.
The room was super spacious, we had the family room, so for just myself and my partner, it was more than enough and utilised the bunk bed for luggage etc. We loved the balcony with the hanging chairs. It was such a relaxed and chill vibe.
The location near the beach was also perfect, really just a minute away, Can't beat it.
The facilities were great, beautiful and large kitchen with a dining area. The pool area was also really lovely. Our host was also very accommodating, and if there was anything we needed, he was sure to help arrange it.
Would love to come back and stay again!
Really don't have much to complain about! Its dusty, but that is Santa Teresa.

close to the beach with a beautiful pool, kitchen, and private setting
Great to walk to the beach and easily come back at any time.

location location location. this is the quieter end of the beach. there’s a super cool bar called roco mar right on the beach and the amazing Nami sushi just down the road and cafe social on the corner for breakfast.
the beach here has a little rip to get you out back surfing and it’s a less crowded in the water.
the property itself is exceptionally clean and well maintained. it’s four bungalows. they are in perfect condition with your own balcony and a cool little communal area. it makes for a real social space. and the pool is really well maintained.
nothing. honestly. nothing.

it is located RIGHT on the road with road noise

The rcabins are large and really cute, great balcony. It was clean. it’s nice that they have a kitchen to prepare your breakfast. they also gave a large fridge where you can put your food. Small pool, for cooling down. A lot of restaurants near by.
We didn’t have water for more than half a day. The staff didn’t say a word, just handed over the key. Only one parking spot, we parked on the dirt road to the beach. The beach and Santa Teresa is a bit disappointing. It’s difficult to reach, very primitive, sea to rough to swim, so not the beach days I had expected. I think the cabanas are a bit overpriced.

Everything, Micheal are host was wonderful

proximity to the beach and outdoor bar/restaurant. Helpful staff- especially Toro, the surf instructor.
Needs a little TLC, (poorly functioning AC, shower knobs missing etc…).

The hotel is charming and ideally located close to the beach. The manger, Michael, was extremely welcoming and helpful.
Although well located for the beach, the hotel is also right on the main road which is noisy and very dusty. Even worse though were the two local cockerels that sounded off at the crack of dawn every morning.

I really liked the location, at the quieter end of the beach, the ocean is close, with a super nice beach cafe - super sunset spot! The hotel itself is designed with taste, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
The bungalows are right by the road, noise from the cars and trucks is real 😬 it's pricey (but that's true about every place in S Teresa)

Great place but too bad it was so close to the road. I wish the staff had offered to clean the room or change the sheets or offer fresh towels or something. We were there for 7 days and no one offered to clean anything. When I asked if we could get our floor cleaned, the cleaning person handed me a mop! I had to ask each time for a fresh towel. The place is lovely and the staff was very nice
really needed more cleaning offered and done
