Location, lots of parking
No heat. Thr room was cold out

Breakfast was fine.
The rooms are very dilapidated; old furniture, mouldy edges in bathroom, a trickle of cold water; it all felt unpleasant.

Location was great
The carpet in my room was filthy, and the door to the balcony was broken. I know the building is old, but there could be improvements. I had to ask for a heater for the room is the current heating system could not provide enough you for the room., also, I checked out a day early and for some reason I could not get a refund for my last nights stay. they said they cannot find my credit card number on the receipt that match my credit card. I don’t understand how this could happen because I use one of my credit cards to book the stay.

The central location and the nice view through the window over the Dnipro river
Almost no heating in the room

Great staff, great location, great view of the river. Hot water, restaurant on premises and more.
I liked everything.

Very stylish old vintage soviet hotel. loved it
i would still remove rust from the bathroom and make the doors more sound-isolating due to occassional noise from the hallway.

The location is wonderful and it’s probably the one and only advantage of hotel
The place is very dirty and old, a lot of spiders in the room.

Room was extremely cold in the winter weather. My health got worse after staying one night in that hotel room.

There isn't much I liked about the place. I only went there in urgency and it provided the bed space I needed to spend a night. The location was really good and the view was pretty, but that's literally the only positives about the entire place. I can't fit in more in the what I didn't like section so I'll just add more here. It's a place not worth your time or money. It's cheap? Not really. I paid 625 UAH per day for the cheapest room. The temporary flat I stayed in when I first came to Ukraine which was a luxury flat and included a kitchen and laundry? 650 UAH per day. I came here because I thought I'd be saving money but I am never doing that, ever again. Especially when I can get a much better place in around the same amount of money. Or better, I'd rather spend more money and go to a good hotel actually worth it than a place where they don't even teach their staff basic things and don't provide heating in the months of winter. Save your time. Save your money. I sure hope I did.
What could have been better? Oh, boy. Where do I begin? Maybe beginning with the staff who didn't understand what room their guest even booked and how long the guest's stay was because how come there were not one but two people present at the reception and neither one understood the difference between a "Standard" room and a "Comfort" one? They tried to put me in the "Comfort" one when I clearly booked the "Standard" one for two nights. Oh and the price for the Comfort for one night was higher than what I paid for the Standard for two nights, by the way. So, after 10 mins of confusion where they didn't get that I booked a standard, they finally understood it after me showing them my booking multiple times, which I was even overcharged for, by the way. So, let's move on to the room. I walk in and it's freezing cold, but more on that later. The rest of the room is alright, the beds are okay. I'm pretty okay with everything.. well, until I go to the bathroom. Cleaned, yes, I'll give it that but what the hell was up with that sink? The tap was so low that I couldn't even fit ONE hand under it and I am known to have small hands. I had to wash my hands with the showerhead. Every. Single. Time. So, back to that freezing room problem. I go to the reception to try and get that fixed and they tell me in Russian that there's nothing they can do about it which took me a while to understand as I am not very fluent. So, after telling me in Russian with no English words mentioned at all, they suddenly switch to English to tell me that you actually need to pay for tonight since you haven't paid yet and only paid for one night, which was not true at all because I had already paid for two nights just the previous day. I had to argue with the receptionist and explain it to her until she finally understood it which took a few mins for her to get through to her.

Sorry but I cannot mention here anything positive except for location of the hotel.
Very old furniture. TV set didn't work as it is of very old model and doesn't support digital signal. The linen was new but not clean enough. The room door is so seek that it doesn't protect the guest from a sound in the corridor at all. All talks in the corridor is well recognizable.

The staff in the cafe were very helpful. They even made sure I ate a balanced diet. The people at the front desk didn't understand me and acted like they didn't care

The rooms are just comfortable
The location is good, but the price of the rooms is expensive for the facilities are few and old, and the internet is very, very weak, almost non-existent
