LOVEDDDDDD the location!!! We walked to the places to eat and took the most lovely walks on the waterfront every day with a glass of wine in hand!!! VERYYYYY SAFE!!!!!
The only item that I would advise is there are 3 stories and the restrooms are on the top story. For us....just a free little opportunity to get a little exercise!!
Hope to stay here again when I come back to Vancouver!!!

I love this place. It is a home away from home.

The property was very clean. It had everything we needed for a carefree holiday. The entry/exit process was seamless. Will book again.

This property is in a nice part of town. It felt safe and comfortable. It was the hottest part of summer and frankly, we never got the hang of when to open the doors and windows, and when to run the AC units. Bathrooms are both on the top floor which is annoying but doable. The trains and planes are loud occasionally but no big deal. Walking to the restaurants and the water was easy and nice. Walking to the grocery store is possible but may not be recommended based on a large and slightly confusing intersection you would need to walk through. Driving in and out of the Vancouver area was easy most of the time. Driving in and out of the Portland area was difficult with lots of traffic most of the time. Overall, it’s a nice property in a good location. Great jumping off point for sightseeing, etc.

We met our daughter and fiancé that flew in from Honolulu to celebrate the new year. We’d never been to Vancouver and the location was perfect for getting around. Loved being able to walk to the local restaurants. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and having fires in the fireplace while watching movies. Beds were comfy and it was also great to have a washer and dryer in the house. The train noise didn’t bother us at all but the airplane traffic later than midnight and so early in the morning was a bit alarming. It would have been nice to have a half bathroom either next to entry or at least on the main floor. I’m 67 and had knee replacement. The stairs were ok but I wouldn’t recommend it to someone that can’t physically do a lot of step climbing.
For us….we would definitely come back as long as I’m able. Loved our stay

We were in Vancouver from AZ visiting for the week of Thanksgiving, we used to live in the area and are familiar with the good and bad areas of Vancouver. This is in a very good area. There are train tracks right across the street from the front entrance, as well as the unit is in the direct flight path of the Portland Airport. I personally love watching trains and planes so this did not bother us at all, and the owner does make it very clear there are planes and trains nearby.
The cleanliness of the place was pretty good. The office down on the bottom floor was pretty dusty but it was obviously just not used regularly , it felt like maybe it was just overlooked by the cleaning people, due to not being used but things get dusty so probably my they should just try to keep it dusted more. It was very useable and we did like that it had the office, I worked part of the time I was there and it worked just fine for my needs.
One thing that we did not expect was how cold the condo was. Granted it was cold outside and I’m from Vancouver, I know what this time of year is like there but to actually get the condo warm enough to not have to bundle up in hoodies and socks/ blankets, took 2 days of running the heat.
Like on high. Obviously we didn’t keep it up on high when we left the unit but for the most part the heat was running non stop and still was very very cold inside the home. We ended up closing the bedrooms and running the heat in the rooms a couple hours before we went to bed and it was better.
The furniture was old but again, it worked fine. We felt that the condo was great for our needs and I would stay there again just maybe not when it’s so cold outside.
The directions to the condo are hard to give others when using google maps etc simply because it takes you a block down from the unit. The owner did explain this from the get go in her check in instructions so was not a surprise to us. And also not a big deal.
Also please note - we had issues using the code for the trash area, we didn’t realize this til the morning we were checking out but we had to go back to get the actual trash fob thing. Because we were on the way to the airport at 530am it was stressful having to go back to get the sensor fob, then put the trash in the trash area/compactor and take the fob back to the unit.
So if going to put trash in the trash area be sure you take the actual fob/sensor thing.
All in all, I give it 4/5 stars.
Hope this helps! :)

All good other than the noise from trains and airplanes

My husband and our two kids stayed here for a month, so we could visit family and play tourist. The home had enough space for my husband and I to work and my kids to attend virtual summer school (the office on the lower floor was great for this). The home has all the things you need for a month long stay - the kitchen is well stocked if you want to make meals. The pool and hot tub in the complex was also a big bonus for us - the family spent many afternoons and evenings here and it was never crowded. Our host, Karol, was very responsive - all our questions were answered promptly. The only downside is the noise from the trains and overhead plane noise which is pretty constant - however, the host made this very clear in the listing so we knew what we were getting into, and we got used to it after a couple of days. I would recommend this condo for anyone wanting to visit the Portland/Southern WA area.

Week in Vancouver.
Great location and the condo was lovely. Outside noises very loud from airplanes, traines and painting crew with hydraulic lifts.
Clean, comfortable beds and nicely decorated. Had a great time.

Lovely Stay
We stayed a week at this property. The unit was well stocked, clean and in a convenient desirable location. The owner was prompt and accommodating in responding to our inquiries. We would recommend this property to anyone who wants to be near restaurants, shopping and the river. The river walk is definitely a plus for a nice walk a long the river.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great Location, Pleasant Condo
We spent a week here at the beginning of February and had a great experience. There is a bit of airplane noise, but not at night, so we weren't bothered. It was well-furnished and have everything we needed. The best part is the convenience to everything... walk to restaurants, coffee, even downtown via the river trail. I recommend this place if you're looking for something close to downtown and the river!

Great place, great location!
We were there for work, had to drive as far south as Canby and as far north as Yacolt. The location could not have been better! There are good food options within walking distance for coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner. While we were there (Mid August 2021), the complex was under construction so you could not access the garage during business hours, but street parking was easy enough. Overall, I'd definitely stay again for work or for a vacation visiting the greater-Portland area.

Between the River and the Fort
Our stay at the Columbia Way property (Property ID 377062) was outstanding. The condo sits within a long block of the Columbia River and just across the highway from Historic Fort Vancouver. If you are a train watcher, the proximity to the Burlington Santa Fe main line is a definite plus! You are a short walk to two excellent restaurants with riverside dining. The property is clean, spacious for the four of us and well ordered. The owner is a charming lady who enjoys getting to know the families who stay in the condo. Overall a wonderful experience. We hope to go back!

We enjoyed the location near the riverfront, restaurants, and other conveniences. The condo was quite lovely, clean, and well stocked.

Great find in Vancouver
Karol is an incredible host....always available for questions and/or issues. She responded very quickly to all communication. The home is very comfortable and incredibly well stocked with all the linens, towels and kitchen tools you might need. The location is incredibly convenient to both downtown Vancouver, Portland, PDX and just your everyday needs. We loved it! The only issue was the noise from trains, planes and automobiles.....but it was worth it!

What a great property! Everything that I read about it ahead of time was true. Well stocked.
Our stay was over the Christmas and New Years holiday and the condo was wonderful. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was just as described, well stocked and very nice. Perfect for us! Everything about it was good. It was close to restaurants, grocery store, church and our daughter. Thank you Peake of the Northwynds!

Perfect!
We loved our stay here. We came to attend the LPGA Cambia Portland Classic at Columbia Edgewater Country Club and this condo was an 11 minute drive away. We decided to Uber it everywhere we went so easy access to two wonderful restaurants (Beaches and McMenimins) and a grocery store nearby worked great for us. We loved sitting outside along the Columbia River while we dined. We also walked to Christine's for breakfast one day - little bit of a hike with a bit of an incline but we made it, and enjoyed it. The condo had everything we needed and we enjoyed relaxing in the cozy living room area after long days on the golf course. We highly recommend Wildwood Tours for a great 1/2 day trip to the Columbia River Gorge and waterfalls (Multnomah). This condo is a perfect location. The trains? What trains? We were too tired to notice.

Perfect location!
Perfect location to hop on the highways to take you any direction you want to explore!! Walkable to riverfront and downtown Vancouver. Everything was well stocked and the owner takes the time to make sure you have everything you need for your stay. She has everything very nicely organized and in great detail so it is easily accessible. For us, the only negative were that the beds were too soft for our liking but we sleep on extremely firm beds at home. Overall, everything was in great condition and we would stay again next time in that area! Thanks for the hospitality!

Can't beat the price for what you get
Our family stayed for a week and overall we were pleased with all that was provided in the condo. Karol was very responsive and helpful. Can't ask for more than that.

Cozy Retreat at Beautiful Riverside Vancouver, WA
This became our peaceful haven during an otherwise busy family vacation. The quick, easy access to the shops just down the street was such a huge help, being that we had our 5-year-old ASD daughter traveling with us. The condo was clean and comfortable- you can tell that the owner puts some pride in her property. This kind and generous owner went out of her way to accommodate us and any unique requests that came up. We were so pleased with the experience that we plan on requesting use of the condo next time we visit family. Much appreciated!

Awesome stay in Portland/Vancouver
Very nice condo on the river far enough from downtown to be relived of traffic. The unit was nice, organized, well stocked. Karol was helpful in every way. The train and plane noise was the only downside. It was very mild when we stayed. Warm during day, 82 was the highest and nice and cool eve and night, in the 60's. We tried to have windows open to cool unit, which cooled nicely but the planes were to loud to relax and watch TV. After noise curfew at 11pm we could open most windows on the south, airport side. The trains on the north side ran all night, they were slow and usually very quiet. That is until one had to stop, when they start going again sounds like train crash. The noise of the trains didn't bother the kids or myself. The wife and grandmother though were awakened quite often. I do believe if there were some curtains in the train side rooms it would greatly reduce the noise and the sun coming in at 5am. Would we stay again absolutely yes. Would bring a white noise maker or a loud fan.

Your perfect home away from home.
The location is amazing. Set along the river and close to restaurants and Portland, it was very ideal. The place itself was equipped with everything we needed, from a rice cooker to laundry detergent. My family of four was comfortable with it's two and half bedrooms (bottom floor office) and two bathrooms. There are two flights of stairs, however. We were also warned about noise from trains and planes, but we didn't even notice them. Karol was very informative and always available when we needed her. The booking experience was also very easy and quick.
This was such a wonderful place to stay that we almost want to keep it a secret. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Another Fine Stay
Our second visit to this condo and again were very satisfied! Karol may be the ultimate host as the condo is very clean and well stocked for daily living. It has very accurate information about the use of the condo and how to enjoy the area. The grandkids loved all the board games provided! (Remember this is a 3 story unit). When away from home it is important to feel comfortable and safe and this unit does both. Next time we are in the Vancouver area, this would be our first choice to stay.

Wonderfull!!!
My wife and I stayed there for 12 days in August 2105. Karol gives excellent information and instructions. The location was perfect! We were warned about train and airplane noise but neither bothered us. I think it is a little weird that the bathrooms are only on one floor but we knew that going in. You get two bedrooms, two bathrooms A GARAGE for less then a decent hotel room. Why would you go somewhere else?
While there is always something petty to complain about, we will come back and recommend this unit, and Karol, to our friends and family. We had a great stay!!!!

Vancouver Condo
We had a memorable family Christmas in this lovely condo. The owner was very helpful and pleasant. The description on the website was accurate. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The instructions left in the 3 ring binder were very helpful. The condo was very conveniently located close to the river, downtown Vancouver and local restaurants as well as the shopping center. We had 4 adults staying there and there was ample room when our grandchildren who live nearby came by for lunch or a walk on the river. We loved the fact that it had an attached garage!
Since our children and grandchildren live nearby, we hope to come back again.

Convenient To Everything
Dealing with the owner (Karol) was a pleasant experience. The property was exactly as described. The condo was clean, well equipped, and walking distance to everthing you could ever want. The attached garage was a pleasant bonus not found in most other rentals. Be sure to take in a sunset from the I-5 pedestrian bridge walkway.

Great condo for the two of us!
The description of this condo was very accurate on the website and from the owner herself. We didn't mind the stairs (we're both 60) and noise from the train and planes. The place is clean and organized and had everything you would want for a week or longer stay. I liked the fact that you knew where to put things back since the cupboards were labeled.
The owner was great to work with and responded in a timely manner to our questions.

Great Experience
This was our 2nd stay in this condo. Our last visit was in August 2012. I wrote a review that's still accurate, but the place seemed even better this time. Very clean, nicely maintained, especially well-stocked and well-organized. Spacious and comfortable, in a pleasant complex with a great location. Some airplane noise, but not during the night. Enjoyed seeing the trains go by...again, not much sound at night. The stairs could be a negative for some, but we're an older couple and found them good exercise. Wonderful walks along the river, excellent restaurants nearby. Karol is easy to work with, provides plenty of information, and quickly responds to any communication. Hope to return.

Great Place, Great Owner!
Karol was absolutely amazing! We contacted her on short notice and she was able to get us the contract within hours and we were there the next day! We were in the process of moving to the area and needed a place to stay while looking at houses, setting up life, etc. The condo was great- had everything I could think of needing and more- a well stocked kitchen, laundry facility, and a place to sit, relax and lay our heads. My kids loved some of the older movies available (A Goofy Movie was their favorite). They were also amazed with the 'old' technology of a VCR. :) There was a great walking path right out the front door that takes you down by the river, on into downtown, or over to Fort Vancouver. Not only was the place great, but Karol was an amazing resource for TONS of information! I highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for a stress-free rental!

Great location not far from downtown Portland
This really was the perfect place for my family. A great location on the river, lots of nice walks nearby, and blackberries across the road! It was very affordable compared to staying right in Portland and the 10 minute drive was only slowed during rush hour. Everything was very clean and everything we needed was there. Lots of good restaurants and pubs nearby. Beaches too! Not so good for people who have trouble with stairs or who would be bothered being near an airport.

My time in Vancouver
The time I spent in this condo was really nice and comfortable, the location of the condo is ideal for anyone going for business or pleasure since there are many places to go and visit.
The condo is very welcoming and very well kept, it has all the proper amenities as you would have back home, the condo complex is very peaceful and quiet, and the restaurants near the complex are top of the line.
I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to spend some time on vacation or for a short work stay.

EXCELLENT LOCATION! EXCELLENT PRICE!
Everything mentioned, features, photos, details are to the "T". The small details make this place feel like home, such as movies, games, (for all ages I must add), books and even the Music iPod. My favorite was walking out the front door and on along the Columbia River, or to the restaurants, or drive just a few minutes to a quick bite or DT Vancouver. Don't be mistaken by the NO front or back view because everything is so accessible, including heading out to DT Portland! For all this and the price, I would definitely go back

Nice, spacious condo in a great location
The listing information and the photos very accurately reflect the condo's appearance and amenities. Everything is well-organized and nicely maintained. The place is well-stocked, comfortable, spacious, and has pleasing decor. Plenty of information is provided. More space than we needed as a couple, it would be especially good value for a family. Nice walking areas nearby....along the river, through historical sites just north, and west toward downtown and the Farmers' Market. Easy walk to restaurants with scenic views and popular happy hours. We actually enjoyed hearing & watching the trains go by. The noise of planes not so much, but all part of the planes & boats & trains atmosphere. Not the place for anyone who has trouble with stairs, as there are 2 sets of narrow, steep stairs to contend with (with both bathrooms on the top floor). We liked it, and expect to return.
