I had a wonderful stay at Mouria Pension. The location is amazing and the hotel is beachfront with private access. The hotel room had a comfortable bed, and sea view balcony with a nice hot shower and good bathroom. The breakfasts were delicious on the beachfront each morning. The family and staff that run the hotel are kind, generous and helpful. A top notch place with the beauty of Greece everywhere - including the hospitality.

The Mouria is one of the most extraordinary 'finds' I've ever made in all my years of travel. While at pension prices (an incredible bargain out of season: under 60 euros for two, breakfast included), it could well be considered, in the style of its building, the facilities it offers and the amazing location, a small luxury hotel, and reminded me of far more expensive places at Beaulieu on the French Riviera. The hotel is located on a deep bay that looks more like a lake, with a pontoon stretching out into the water (full of fish) and, as a picturesque touch, a boat moored on the calm water. It is isolated in its own grounds, with a broad, seaside terrace under a leafy pergola and a lawn with palm trees and sunbeds facing its own, small, private beach. Breakfast was served on the terrace, a buffet with some excellent homemade features. We went well out of season, in mid-October, so the restaurant was closed (but there is at least one good taverna in the town, within easy walking distance). The room was simple and spotlessly clean, with a balcony and a full view across the pergola to the sea. And by the way, our dog was welcome.
Nothing. I have every intention of going back and staying longer.

The view from the room was amazing.
Very comfy beds.
Plenty of parking space.
Airconditioning worked great.
Would be great if the bathroom wouldn't get so wet during a shower.

Location, facilities, view, staff
Beds too soft and no spare blanket. The only fault in an otherwise perfect stay.

The location was wonderful, right on the sea with its own pebble beach and a grassed area with sunbeds. Near the amphitheatre at Epidavros. Easy, free parking. Breakfast and dinner very good. In walking distance of the harbour and it’s restaurants. Great atmosphere, with a lovely view from our (small) balcony of the sea, mountains, palm trees and vines etc. Also great atmosphere in the restaurant and bar in the evening.
One of our balcony chairs was broken and they replaced it although the replacement had evidently been repaired. The marble topped table had been broken, more or less in half, but was not replaced. Not a huge issue for us but the balcony furniture needs updating. Would not stop us staying again!

Perfect in every way. The Pension started as a small, family-run house in the 1950s, and still retains its charm. Lovely staff, great location, excellent food, beautiful property.
