The food was okay, the staff is friendly and is very quite.
Don't go to this hotel, the people working in it might be nice but that's not enough. They do false advertisement to charge the customer and they won't even give you water to drink without charging you for it... Water people, let that sink in.
I arrived and they tried to charge me US$15.00 dollars for "early check-in". I am accustomed to stay in hotels and resorts and never had I heard anything like it. I didn't pay for it by the way.
Once I did the check-in they told me that even the water was going to be charged if I took it from the mini-bar and this is the part of the false advertisement, they have a small basket right next to the fridge and in it a small bag of peanuts and a menu with a very nice and decorated presentation.... They charged me for the peanuts that are NOT in the mini-bar but the front desk "forgot" to mention it, they even went as far as charge over the amount that was listed. Listed price was RD$50.00 but they charged RD$75.00.
Be aware, they won't have the prices for anything from the mini-bar on the actual menu, you can only figure that out once you call the front desk from your cell phone because they don't have phones inside the rooms to communicate with anyone.
They will also charge you from US$10.00 to an entire day if you have to do late check-out for whatever reason.
They will make you sign a paper saying that they won't be responsible if anything of value goes missing from the room.
They didn't sweep the floor and I found hairs on my bed.
The shampoo and conditioner bottles had not been changed in a really long time, the conditioner looked almost moldy.
This is not worth it. A local told me it used to be a very nice place, not anymore, that's for sure.

Location
*Please read this* When you book a room you will have to pay in person. Please bring local pesos because if you use a debit card they will charge an additional 18% from their machine. That's not included in the total from booking and I don't want anyone else to have money stolen from them. Mine was $18.75 which isn't too bad but it's the fact that it wasn't another factor for tourist and the staff placed the blame on booking.com to give a refund. Poor customer service.

It was beautiful hotel. Some staff spoke English and those that did not were patient with my very broken Spanish.
I was charged $30 for a sheet because I got my period. There were fruit flies in the room.

It was very basic considering the price.

The property is modern and clean. The staff are friendly.
They force you to pay $15 per night for a poorly stocked mini bar. They do not tell you this until you reach the hotel. At night there is a disco and it is almost impossible to sleep. The food in the restaurant was not very good.
