とても清潔感あり、シャワーもしっかりお湯が出る。ドミトリーもカーテンで仕切られているのでありがたい。何よりオーナーさんが親切で色々助けてもらいました。

ちょっと中心地から離れているが、歩ける距離。雨の時がちょっとツラい。

Perfect vacation

If you want a quiet, clean place to stay, this is the only hotel for you. First of all, let me say that it is a bit far from the center of the town. However, it is only a 20-minute walk to the lake, so it is a light walk, and a tuk-tuk will get you there in no time, so personally, the distance was not a problem. Hotel el sol is a very clean hotel. I have lived in the U.S. and Japan for a long time, and this cleanliness is unparalleled at this price. And at night you can sleep well because of the quietness of the surroundings. (Hotels in the center of town are noisy with cars and people.) The owner is a Japanese who has lived in Guatemala for over 20 years and is very kind and of course speaks perfect Spanish, etc. I woke up in the morning, took a leisurely walk to the lake, and after enjoying the town center, returned to the inn for a good night's rest. I guess this is what vacation is all about. I will definitely visit again when I come to Panajachel. Thank you.

Nice stay to kick off our Atitlan Adventure

This is by far the cleanest hotel in Latin America. It’s not even close. The owner was friendly and the property had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

It would have been nice to have an outside sitting area. The location is quite removed from restaurants and activities, but it is mentioned as do in the description do we can’t fault them for that. Just an observation.

It's really clean.

I ordered french fries, on the menu it says 5Q, They charged me 20Q. I asked and they gave my money to me but not all them. This is not about money this is about their attitude. Internet is barely working.

Best place to stay! Comfortable and very clean. Staff was very helpful!

The bathrooms were clean and spacious! The rooms were great and beds were clean and comfortable. Staff was wonderful and spoke English/Spanish.

Everything was great. Thank you for accommodating us!! We will return!

Superb

The owner and staff are very nice and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable, and they also cleaned the room every day.

Really good and quiet place to stay in Panajachel

Really clean and comfortable room. Nice staff and always responsive. Hot water for shower. Drinking water provided (hot & cold) + tea and coffee. Wifi was really good. Super quiet environnement (apart from dogs which are everywhere). Breakfast, lunch, dinner and laundry available.

Nothing for us but to let you know it’s outside of the Main Street with all restaurants. Around 15-20min walk.

The breakfast is really good with lots of options and modest prices. The Wifi works perfectly Everything was clean: room bathroom hall corridors stairs everything Free water, tea and coffee were also nice as they should be never taken for granted in developing countries.

The kitchen was not usable during my stay, they said due to inflation on gas prices. Understable, hopefully they will open it again in the future

It was very clean and quiet, the dorm beds have curtains. They do offer laundry service. You can also wash your clothes behind the house and hang it up there. The shower was warm.

No kitchen, no nice hang around area for sitting outside the room. Difficult to communicate with the owner in English and Spanish

Great stay in Pana!

very nice hotel, clean and well looked after. I only give a 9 for the location as it’s a bit of walking from the Main Street which we don’t mind because it was very quiet but it’s something to consider when you stay there. there is also coffee and tea in the reception and they offer breakfast for extra fee.

Very good

The beds are made daily, with a new towel, new soap. (new sheets?). The comparted dormitories with curtains are nice. The bathroom and shower are super nice.

The windows curtains are too thin. We need obscurity to sleep.

Lovely hotel, very clean with spacious rooms. The staff were very helpful. I was also able to get my washing done: they said it would be ready in 2 hours :)

I liked everything. One of my favourite hostels/hotels.

Affordable and clean

The hotel is very clean. The room is cleaned and towels/bins changed daily. The hotel has free coffee/Tea and cold drinking water. The shower has some warm water.

It is a bit too quiet, and the vibe is a bit off with blue lights in the hallways at night. Textiles and carpets on chairs and tables in the room seems excessive.

perfect stay. big room comfortable beds lovely shower and pleasant host.

slightly out the way but about 20 min walk from town which didn’t bother us at all. we walked back and night no problems it’s a safe place.

Good value for money!

The owner is very friendly and is literally jumping to help you. The place was very clean and there is plenty of privacy.

Not really any facilities besides a bed and shower but that is to be expected at this price. The location is somewhat far from the centre but you know that in advance of course.

Pleasant

Free filtered water was available on the ground floor. Good hot shower in the bathroom.

It was a strange to have to leave the key at the reception. The location was a 10 minute walk from the centre of the town. The decor of the room was quite dated and the flyscreens didn't entirely fit the windows.

lovely location away from centre offers quiet & calm environment. everything was very clean & as described. hot water, ample blankets & a fan provided. windows open with screens & beds were comfy. friendly hosts & lots of room.

would prefer regular pillows to the memory foam ones

Great stay a bit outside

The Place is very clean and the Staff is adorable. For this price it is one of the best accomondations arround lake Atitlan.

The WiFi is stable but very slow and the hotel is a bit outside of Pana.

Good value for your money, has all the criteria to make it a pleasant stay

Very clean, the room were nice and comfortable for that price and we slept well the shower is a good temperature and pressure is alright even though it was concentrated in wone point and not diffused The owner let us use the kitchen when his employees or himself did not need it which was very appreciated

a bit far away from the center, even if we knew that! However we walked back there even during the evening and did not feel unsafe We stayed 2 nights and the day after the first night, someone went to our room to clean up and make the bed, it is very nice but it would be good to be told in advance in order to pack our belongings a bit
