Prachtige lokatie in New Forest. Gezellige inrichting. Rustige omgeving en heel vriendelijk personeel, goed eten, goede sfeer. Paarden liepen daar los over de weg.
Kleine kamer.

the location, friendly staff & good food.
If I had been tall I would have had trouble with the roof of the property as it was quite low in places.

The location , we have stayed here before & had a lovely time. Breakfast included. Even though it’s a pub it is lovely and peaceful with excellent staff. car park too.
nothing to dislike

Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were really great and plentiful and the bed was comfortable.
Room was a bit tired and the bathroom needed a bit of attention (toilet roll holder broken, towel radiator only had half of the rials working). Obviously it's an old building so the creaky floorboards and large fire doors closing woke us up from the rooms above. The cleaning was not perfect as a lot of dust/dirt was present on surfaces (e.g. the above mentioned towel radiator). The restaurant food was limited and simple fare and probably bought-in, but there were plenty of people there.

It could be such a lovely place but our bedroom was filthy the bathroom hadn't been cleaned ready for us the shower tray was disgusting the drain plug in shower I honestly don't believe it's ever been cleaned the hand basin and mirror were also filthy I had to clean everything before we could use it ! We had already complained about the television keep going on and off and got a sarcastic remark that it must be a bird sitting on Arial after that we knew there was no point in complaining as clearly no one cared !!!! It was such a shame because the right people looking after it is running it it would be an absolute gold mine .
The filth of the place is bedroom and bathroom and attitude of management such a terrible same

The Burley Inn is in the perfect position, situated in the heart of the village. It is a large clean, friendly pub with a restaurant with plenty of space. Breakfast is held in the conservatory and is open from 8:30 with a variety of choice from cooked food to cereal and fruit. Our room (7) was a fair size with built in wardrobe and en-suite. The double bed was soft but comfortable and there were plenty of sockets. There is a large choice of food for dinner which we found very good. The staff here are all very friendly who contributed to a good time spent for three nights.
Our room was located on the 2nd (top) floor and as such the ceilings slope, although this looks lovely, I found myself bending my knees to lower myself when going to the toilet. I am 5’ 10 and the toilet in this room is better suited for people that sit down when they go. Although frustrating, it did not spoil our time here. During our 3 night stay (Wednesday to Friday) there was no evening entertainment. I found the Wi-Fi to be a little hit and miss.

Cosy, ideal spot. staff were so friendly.
A little dated. Could do with newer mattresses.
