Beautiful cottage, everything you could need. Superb location and having a parking space was a god send.
I was given the wrong key code by booking.com so couldn’t access the cottage for 50 minutes. This was very stressful as I had two young children in tow after a long drive and had to wait 45 minutes for someone at booking.com to answer the phone. I wasn’t originally given the actual owners phone number either which I should have and would have helped.
Also, dog owners are told to keep their dogs off the furniture but they clearly have allowed them as there was a very strong smell of dog on sofa.

Beautiful location and facilities in the cottage. Wells is such a pretty and welcoming place - we will return!

The cottage was great, very clean, car parking opposite the cottage, and it was my space for the week. 5 minutes walk to the front, plenty of places to eat, or for coffee, close to bus stops . a number of walks in the area. and the weather was fantastic.
The only thing that was missing from our point of view was a slow cooker. which had we realised we would have brought one from home.

Comfy beds, clean with good kitchen and bathroom. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable cottage in a central location. Has allocated parking.
Some areas in need of makeover. Garden area needs upgrade.

beds were comfortable
strong sense of being in a garage, poor views, few windows with utilitarian furnishings.

We had a wonderful stay in this cosy cottage, which is fully furnished and well accommodated.
The pictures shown in the description at the time of booking did not correspond to what we found on site, as the cottage was renovated. It was perfectly clean and at a very convenient place to easily access the town.
Our only suggestion is that a washing machine would have been useful, for longer stays at the place.

Was better than we thought as the photos were not up todate. Slept so well and we were so relaxed. Great place. Have already booked for later in the year.
Nothing really. If I was being fussy I would just wanted to finish the small elements in the kitchen but for what we wanted the location and the cottage itself was superb.

The location is great. The cottage is lovely and roomy. Be mindful of low, sloping ceilings upstairs if you're tall! Well equipped and cosy. Downstairs loo very useful for my elderly mum. Short walk to the town centre and harbour. Has parking for one vehicle which is really important in Wells as parking provision is sparse.
The only small niggle was that the downstairs smelt of dogs. It's a hard floor throughout downstairs so I think it must have been the rug. No smell upstairs, in fact, the upstairs was immaculate.

Location was very good, cottage was warm and cozy even with the cold weather. Decent facilities especially for the price. Prompt and friendly assistance with the one minor issue I had.
Initially had a slight problem gaining access to the property.

Husband cut his head on the low ceiling edge in the bedroom, could do with some foam on it

New sofa and other updates much appreciated.
Had to de-scale the kettle - but other than that, it was lovely.

Cozy cottage.it rained non stop all week but we managed as we knew we had this comfy cozy cottage to warm up and dry off in.
Kitchen facilities. More robust wine glasses and a cooker which had slightly more accurate temperature controls.
As it was so wet we didn’t venture out after a day out so we self catered quite a bit.
Also the garden isn’t attached which I don’t think I read anywhere when booking.
Might be worth a mention for any one with dogs like us.
The weather didn’t help this situation either walking them to the garden in the pouring rain.
It wouldn’t stop me coming back though.
