A la hauteur de nos attentes pour visiter Verdun

Nous avons bien apprécié ces deux nuits passées pour ce séjour. Régine est une personne qui aime le contact. La chambre est confortable et le petit déjeuner est au Top. C'est l'endroit idéal pour visiter Verdun et ses lieux historiques. Nous recommandons sans hésiter. I et N KHADIR

Mann fühlte sich nicht wie in einer Pension eher wie zu Hause

Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt die ganze Pension war so was von herzlich wir werden wieder dort unsere Tage verbringen nächstes Jahr und freuen uns schon jetzt darauf das ganze Haus ist sehr liebe voll eingerichtet und die Besitzeren ist sehr nett und zu vor kommend das Frühstück war lecker die Zimmer geschmackvoll eingerichtet kann ich nur empfehlen

Es gab nichts auszusetzen Das einzigste was gefehlt hätte wäre vielleicht ein Fernseher gewesen aber es tat auch mal gut mehrere Tage ohne Fernseher zu verbringen da wir eh die meiste Zeit unterwegs waren

Superb find - clean, cozy and great value for money.

The host was wonderful, very accommodating. We arrived on a Sunday evening and she managed to get us booked into a local restaurant for dinner. Room was lovely and clean with a wonderful, comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious with a range of home made preserves and local honey along with the many pastries. Parking was easily available directly outside. Location was fantastic as it was only a short drive from the many memorials/museums in the area.

Great breakfast and good location

The breakfast was great, we had a choice between salty and sweet, there was a nice garden area we could use and the dog was very cute and friendly, there's a parking space for our car, and the location was very near all the local sights

Lovely homestay close to Center of Verdun

Homestay, with nice host. Had to practice my French! Room is cozy and traditional but the private bathroom is across the hallway. its a pleasant 5-10min walk into town and host makes a lovely homemade breakfast spread. Easy free parking in front of house.

Lovely apartment, location and host. I would use it again.

Lots of lovely French character and excellent host and breakfast. Only short walk to the town centre and on the right side of town if heading to the battle fields.

Exceptional

The ambiance of the house, very welcoming hostess. Such a difference to more mundane chambre d'hote. Antique furniture but modern facilities. WiFi good. Parking right out side in very quiet street. 15 min walk to centre of Verdun. Excellent restaurant, Chez Mamie just 3 mins walk away.

Wonderful stay, wish it were longer!

We had a wonderful time here- Our host was so charming and patient as we worked through our language barriers. The garden is absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast was impeccable!!!

Nice place owned by a woman who was very welcoming. A bit like staying at grandma's place. Rooms were dated but clean. Quiet neighborhood within walking distance of Verdun city center.

Even the bedsheets were vintage!

This stay was a quintessential French experience in the home of a florist and gourmet cook. Our hostess recommended a wonderful traditional French restaurant down the street for dinner. Our breakfast the next morning was excellent in her beautiful dining room, where we chatted with two German guests. Fresh cut flowers, nostalgic décor, in a quiet neighborhood...made for a very pleasant stay.

Good choice for stay in Verdun. It is 1.3mi (2km) from the train station so car may be needed.

Quiet location. Very helpful and cheerful landlady. Would recommend this to other travelers who want comfortable but modest cost B&B.

Great way to improve your French!

A very characterful place with a charming host, Strictly no English spoken became rapidly apparent - to my apprehension. However after a breakfast explaining Brexit in schoolboy French to the host and some fellow guests I realised this is cheaper than a good language school and with more guaranteed results!!! Seriously I really enjoyed my stay and will certainly be visiting again. It’s very convenient for visiting the Verdun battlefield which has plenty of interest for a thoughtful weekend’s tourism.
