Location close to the ferry terminal and beach
Cleanliness, bathroom

No había agua caliente. En la aplicación mencionaba los impuestos a pagar, pero al llegar me cobraron otro impuesto según ellos municipal, el cual no se menciona en el desglose de la aplicación.

It was good clean

The location is great and they also provide drinkable water for free.
There is no room service. We stayed for 2 nights. The towels and room are not changed or cleaned. When I am going to check in, the reception tried to charge me one more city tax... It was good that I found it..
3 beds in one room make the stay very crowded and uncomfortable.
2.0
The location. Ferry, beach and restaurants within a short walking distance, but still in a rather quiet side street. The fact that we give more than 1 point is simply the hotel's location.
The rooms need an overhaul. Especially the bathroom of our apartment was not meeting any modern standards and had mold at several spots. We also had cobwebs under the kitchen table, which indicates that they don't clean properly.
We also had a cockroach in the apartment, but I think that could happen anywhere.
All in all, we felt very uncomfortable there and would highly suggest to anyone who has certain standards when it comes to hygiene to go for something else.

The staff were very helpful. We loved the roof terrace and the location was excellent. Rooms were comfortable and a bit bigger than they looked in the pictures.
It was quite pricey for what it was, but I think this is the case all over Isle of Mujeres. Nothing we didn't like.

The roof is very nice and they give us new towels and clean our rooms daily.
There were a lot of cockroaches and bugs in our first room so we requested to move rooms. The second one was bad get and better but it was still dirty. Bathrooms need to be redone

Quaint little spot close to the Ferry and easy walking to everything in downtown Isla Mujeres. Also about and 8-minute walk to North Beach and close to the Malecon too. Room was clean and comfortable; a/c, hot water worked efficiently; sink, few dishes, microwave, refrigerator and table provided. Great rooftop space for just hanging out and taking in the beautiful ocean views. Beach towels provided. Must mention that there is no elevator and quite a bit of stairs to the upper floors and rooftop, so be mindful of that. Check-in was easy and the owner was friendly. This seems to be a family-run establishment.
for a solo female traveler, it was a bit uneasy coming in late at night as there is no secured entrance - must be extra vigilant! Wi-Fi could have been better; I had to use the hotspot on my phone as I was working sometimes.

The rooftop terrace is the finest view on the island.
Spanish is the only language spoken by the staff. They are warm and helpful. However, a translator on your phone would be very useful.

Location to beach and walking downtown was excellent. Rooftop patio was wonderful.
Very small room.

Fantastic location - close to the beach, lovely restaurants and live music.
Hot shower, comfy bed, good air con, quiet location, very clean.
Great roof terrace with great views and some nice loungers.
The fridge in our room was quite loud, and the rooms are not large.

Very close to the beach (5 min to playa centro, 10min to nicer playa norte), few blocks away from delicious restaurants. We also felt very safe in the area. The owners/staff were nice and very helpful. The rooms are not new or modern but are very comfortable and clean. On top is a beautiful terrace, maybe not with the nicest view due to ugly buildings around but super useful for hanging wet clothes from the beach. It’s also less than 10min away from the ferry so you don’t need a taxi to get there.
The shower had very low water pressure and we didn’t get hot water. But this is not unusual in Mexico, as we found out. It was so hot during the day that we didn’t mind the temperature of the water (which was mildly cold, not freezing).

Big space, good location, private bathroom and a shower, have a refrigerator in the room and a good air conditioner
The staff didn't clean up the room while we stayed in there

3 full size beds is rare and worked for my family. Wifi was strong for remote working. Rooftop lounge area was beautiful, lots of lovely potted plants and amazing views.
Bigger trash cans, and a few more utensils for the kitchenette, cutting board, and a bigger broom to help with sand.

The location was ideal. Close to the ferry, playa del norte beach, shops, bars, restaurants, golf rentals etc. The host was also very kind and polite. Overall, satisfied for a 2-night stay but not worth the $75/night that we paid in my opinion for reasons that I explain below.
There was a facility right accross the street that seemed to be some sort of sewage facility/septic systems and the smell was intolerable. Inside the room it was not an issue, although we had kept our windows closed. The rooftop that looked cool on the website and the pictures was an extra reason we chose to stay at this establishment and pay some extra $ compared to other options. Needless to say that it was impossible to spend more than a few minutes without having enough of the smell. Also worth noting, we went to the rooftop a couple of times and not once we saw other people being there, which was a let down because we had imagined that it would be an area of fellow travellers enjoying their coffee/drink, thus a good opportunity to socialise as well.
Also we practically had no wifi in the room. Perhaps 1 bar's worth of signal at the corner of the room. Big letdown considering that we were initially planning to stay longer and work remotely from our hotel room.

Great room. Very clean and comfortable. Views on top of the building were amazing! Helpful front desk persons. Perfect location by the main ferry docks and town to shop/eat. Great wifi - we had to do our virtual covid test to fly home. Glad we visited and had a beach without seaweed (we couldn't use the beach in Tulum).

The update rooms were great . The ones that hadn’t been done were rough looking and smelly.
The rooftop was great !!! Definitely made our stay at the Sol Caribe.
I think they should spend the $ and fix all the rooms. The maids were great ! The the staff was great
The first and second floors rooms had a damp smell and outdated decor. They also only had one person that spoke English. We stayed for 9 days. This was a little tricky throughout the week communicating.
