Pretty new. Good breakfast (eat upstairs). Friendly staff
We asked for double bed and stayed in 2 singles given the time we booked and arrived (after 6pm).

Fruestueck etwas duerftig. Kaum frisches Obst. Keine Eier. Allerdings gute Muesli Auswahl.
Personal war nicht sehr hilfbereit und etwas muffelig

Typical hotel room. Great free breakfast.
Could have been a bit bigger room.

Nice clean, modern room, great breakfast, and friendly staff. For the $ this wa a great hotel.
The area around the hotel is OK but not as nice as some of the other places in the Algrave.

Comfortable, clean and friendly staff
They don't have tea or any other hot beverage available for guests outside breakfast hours. I asked for a cup of tea at evening and they told me I would need to go to a nearby restaurant to get it.

So close to the beach, we loved the access to the pool, sun loungers and bar- was so quiet even though it was mid August- such a peaceful place. Bedrooms were lovely and new, big bathroom. Breakfast was continental with a nice selection. Hotel was prime location. right next to beach, local restaurants (restaurant mar a vista was lovely) the fortress is a 10 min walk- ask reception for the back route. Such a lovely hotel and location, would definitely go back.

Location staff view and available parking all worked out for me.
The shower splashes onto the bathroom floor and made it a bit slippery.

We had the room with a terrace with seaview and that was fantastic. A nice bath, the bed was good and the view is fantastic. It's nice to sit there in the evening and morning and being waken up by the rising sun. The receptionist was very friendly.
Maybe the possbility to have breakfast on our own terrace instead of the hotel basement. It's quit a shame to have such a nice hotel and location and then let your guests have breakfast in a basement with artificial lights. The breakfast was good though!

The location was great, had a balcony view.

Great panaramic view of coastline. Sea view obstructed by building in front. Nice beach; an easy trek down hill, less easy coming back up. Clean, comfortable room but a bit small. Good Italian restaurant downstairs if a bit over-priced.
Barely had luke-warm water second morning. Not good value for money considering low season. Town has little charm, not much going on low-season, economy seems totally tourist based.

Perfect location. Staff very helpful. Very good value for money

The location. Close to the beach and in the center of action. My room had a beautiful balcony with a nice view.
The staff. I have been here for 2 nights. I counted more than 50 moments of contact with staff. Not once (!) a person said something spontaneously like Bom dia or what so ever. They all responded to my Hello/ Bom dia/ Ola. This staff has nothing to do with the Boutique Style the hotel wants to offer. They need to be trained! The only Boutique Style item I discovered was the size of the hotel (20 rooms).
So, if you like a friendly boutique hotel avoid this place. If you do not care about any kindness of staff then this place has a great location.
By the way: one man at the restaurant D’Italia was kind: Claudio. But he was really the only one.
