The beautiful ambience of being in an exclusive hotel environment but yet the feeling of very much being at home and the attention of the team is exceptional.

The staff were exceptional. The whole experience was superb. I would highly recommend this hotel.

- Breakfast: the Breakfast is lovely all in all. However, one negative point: we were shocked to see the lack of Fresh pastries. While the bread selection is delicious, the croissants and brioches are appalling, as if they were pre-packaged and just open for the morning. The rest however is delightful: from the fresh orange juice to the cold meats etc.
- Location: the location is excellent. It overlooks Gstaad and seems to be the main hub of the town.
- Staff: People were generally very polite and nice. The Concierge was helpful, just as the drivers of shuttles that took you to town or ski lifts when you needed to. The chambermaids who turned down the room for the night were always kind, smiley, polite and discreet.
- Food Credit: Absolutely hated the obligation to eat at the hotel with their obligatory food credit (excluding drinks); It's definitely not to the client's advantage, obliges you to eat in rather than go to the town's restaurants, and we ended up paying more than 500 francs for 3 days with some very moderate consumptions. Some of the items are also scandalously priced: A very common cocktail which shall remain unnamed would cost you more than 40 francs, that's double the price in the Four Seasons-Georges V in Paris...
- Rude Waiters: while most waiters were nice and polite, some of the younger waiters were rude and haughty. Many of them did not speak proper English or French and had trouble understanding either. While we tried catching the attention of a waiter, he looked us in the eye and passed us through as though we didn't exist. I had to breathe deeply not to go and make a scene. This is definitely not service to be expected in a Palace.
- Noise: The room was relatively quiet but the radiator was rather noisy. It gave a background noise which was quite annoying.

Great old Charme hotel with wonderful spa facilities.
Restaurants / bar sometimes a bit too full / hectic.
40+ CHF for a drink is too much even for Swiss standards.

Great facilities with a lot of style
Very friendly personnel and very efficient service by all
A lot of attention to detail that makes a difference
The SILVER store inside the hotel compound offered exactly what our family needed
Restaurants were great: beautiful setting for breakfast, very nice setting for dinner with delicious food and sophisticated entertainment
This hotel is 5* but one of the very best 5*: even though it is a large hotel the customers are treated with a lot if respect and are cared for, we cannot wait to be back
Everything was perfect
