Posizione sul mare. Tranquilla.

beach was nice and clean, apero very nice
doing maintenance in the room when we already arrived, breakfast nice but fruits and cheese and yogurt every day the same - tqables should be cleaned quicker so that people don't have to wait or seat in dirty tables

Excellent service and friendly staff. Very helpful and accommodating (once they let me sneak in our very little dog for breakfast). Location of hotel perfect.
In the bathroom very little room to place stuff. Unfortunately breakfast was changed to indoor which does not allow dogs (don't get me wrong i understand that) so we were forced to have breakfast outside of the hotel as our dog does not like to stay alone in the hotel room.

They have nice beach, but it is expensive and not included to the price of accomodation. Nice but limited breakfast. Overally positive emotions.
Expensive beach. A little bit far from the station.

Having been to the Hotel for the last 25 years it was lovely to return to this family run Hotel. The Hotel is in an exceptional position with a lovely beach and restaurant.
The staff are wonderfully helpful and very friendly. The food in the Beach Restaurant is fantastic, fresh and delicious and good value for money. The Beach is great and very clean, with fine sand.
There is a lot of work to do to the hotel to bring it up to standard. The air conditioning system needs a complete overhaul and stopped working for a couple of days during a heatwave in August. In some rooms (I had three) the air-con worked. In others not at all. There are not enough plugs in the rooms for connecting a mobile or computer. I think the cost of the rooms should ALL include a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities. (Apparently only the fifth floor bedrooms have this option). N.B. you pay extra for beach beds & parasol, beach towels, and your own beach changing hut and also pay for daily garage fees. Book beds etc in advance of your stay, as private local families also rent the beds and then there are sometimes none left for the hotel guests !!

Nice Hotel, nice location, comfy, good breakfast menu, nice room.
Some staff members were a bit arrogant

Very friendly staff and Hotel up to expectations.
Parking and sunbeds with umbrella against daily fee.

The hotel is very nice and staff super friendly (Thank you Aira and Rocco, you guys are amazing). The hotel has a own beach with possibility of renting parasol and deck chairs (2x) for 40 euros per day.
Breakfast was huge and outside, with a wonderful sea view.
The hotel has a private parking and is located 5 min walk from the city center of Alassio.
The double bed consists of 2 single beds that come apart every 5 minutes.

Staff was perfect, all of the more than ten people who were there to greet and serve us. The room was spotless as if no one had ever been there before us .. whole hotel and exterior adjoining areas were beautiful and spotless and lovely to see. Beach was not active because season is not here yet, but the views were extraordinary and thrilling to see…close to all shopping and restaurants etc. We loved it all!!

Honestly, my wife and I are very, very happy with everything in general about the hotel. We felt very comfortable with the staff, the cleanliness, the location, the breakfast, the room and the price.
We sincerely appreciate the treatment we received and hope to return soon. We liked it very much

The hotel location is good, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is ok
You have to add Euro 25.— per person and per day for a longer on the private beach plus a Euro 25 for the parking if you come by car so you better go to a 5 star where everything is included
The room are nice but no space to store two open luggages

Booked the grand hotel mediterranee for my birthday (again) and it was an awesome stay as usual. Stayed in room 487 which was on the 4th floor and facing the sea front. The room was spacious with a minibar, AC and own balcony.
The hotel has its own garage which costs 25 Euro a day.
A very special THANKS to Lucia for being very attentive and making our stay very special!
Not much to complain. Just the breakfast area which still needs some improvements of choices and dedicated staff.
4.0
We stayed in a room with balcony and seaview. The room was reasonably quiet, despite having a road and the sea promenade directly outside. The location of the hotel is very good and it is great to have direct beach access. It is slightly outside the very busy Alassio town centre, but still within easy walking distance to the restaurants and night life. The breakfast was served next to the promenade and the choice of food was good.
The room was quite small and decorated in the old, traditional style. The hairdryer was out-dated. What disturbed us most, however, was that the beach access gate was open only from 9 a.m. in the morning. We like to swim before breakfast and would have appreciated the gate being open from 7 a.m. The price for spending a day on the beach with sun umbrella and sunbeds was high (Euro50/day) and the parking was also quite expensive (Euro 25/day). That adds up to quite a hefty sum in addition to the room cost.
