Stort rom, god frokost
Baren var litt trist. Ukomfortable sofaer. Designet på rommet var litt grelt (sengeteppe, gardiner, hodegjerdet).

Staff were very helpful. They allowed us to self serve ourselves for tea/coffee as there was no such facilities in room. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious.
Not a dislike really but the shower door didn’t close properly due to the door suspension rail having become disconnected at one end (room 212). Suggest getting this fixed.

Charming
Was exposed to payment fraud due to the hotel and booking-com had been hacked, and exposed all my personal data. They knew about this for two months and did not inform me. Will be reported to Datatilsynet as GDPR breach. Be very careful with this hotel

Lovely cosy hotel with a soul :)

Old style hotel with a lot of charm, with modernized rooms but they managed to keep the style. Only the bathroom was a bit "cheap" but clean and functionning. We had a terrace an took advantage of it, it was very lovely ! Downstairs, large lounge and dining areas, although we did not try the restaurant. Breakfast was very good and varied. The hotel is historic and located in a small village that I would regret to have missed if I had not stopped for the hotel.
Obviously, the small village is very, very quiet at night, but has a lot of charm. Dont miss the public garden, attended by locals, 200 m from the hotel : lots of flowers and vegetables, very lovely !

I must thanks to the staff because we have to leave very early, and they prepared breakfast for us. The breakfast was really good and have everything.
It was a little noisey in the night since a few people camping and came very late. I can hear the sounds in the late night.

Great location. Breakfast met with expectations.

Good location, nice breakfast
This hotel is super outdated and in both rooms we had huge stains in the carpet. The walls are so thin you cant sleep at night because you hear every step and word of people next dopr

They did not have any vegetarian dishes, this they have noted.

A very friendly staff, headed by an enthusiastic manager. This lady does her utmost to answer customersˋ questions.
Apparently the Norwegian toerist season starts on June 20th. This causes a lot of closed musea and interesting sites

Nice People and location
3.9
The staff were friendly. There is a nice atmosphere in the hotel and the room was very attractive and comfortable.
There was no closet or shelf space for clothing- not even a hook to hang up your coat or jacket.
3.9
All in all, the hotel was nice and the classic theme was well carried out. However, since we came with a pet, we were given a room that was very basic and gave us the feeling we were staying in a converted insane asylum.
