De kamer was een 100% tegenvaller. De badkamer was beschimmeld en de douche werkte slecht omdat deze volledig verkalkt was. De wastafelkraan; bij het opendraaien had deze een druk van een brandweer slang met als gevolg dat je jezelf en de vloer nat had. Bij vermelden van deze klachten werden we totaal onvriendelijk te woord gestaan door de eigenaar en zijn medewerker. Dit tot het denigrerende af. Het was duidelijk dat door onze confrontatie zijn/hun eer werd aangetast. De verschillende opmerkingen die wij te horen kregen zal ik voor mij houden, de eigenaar heeft in de avond de douche kop vervangen en een aanpassing aan de kraan geplaatst. Na een aantal stilzwijgende confrontaties heeft hij in de ochtend zijn excuses aangeboden. Heel fijn maar dit hotel gaat van onze lijst af

kamers niet zoals op de foto's beschreven. Niet alle kamers hebben bv. een bad. Wat verouderd. Geen lift, wel vriendelijk poetspersoneel om ons te helpen. Geen opbergruimte om je koffers te laten staan aan het onthaal

Not the best

The porter who checked us in was brilliant. Only a young guy but one of the best I have ever seen anywhere. The location was also OK and we could park our motorbikes in the courtyard. The price was also OK.

I don't norllhave too many bad things to say bout anywhere but here we go. We thought that the photos were a bit misleading. The large beautiful building was not after all the hotel. The rooms and particularly the bathrooms looked a lot better on the photos. Our friend had a problem with the warm water. The rooms were a bit run down. The beds were comfortable but the bed cover had a hole I it. We had to ask for another towel. The shower was very small and the rather old shower curtain blew in and stuck to you. The saving grace at this hotel was really the lad on reception. I think any hotel would be happy to have him working for them.

Die Stadt ist sehenswert. Die Unterkunft ist verbesserungswürdig und etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Die Lage zur Innenstadt. Das Frühstück war ausreichend.

Kein Aufzug in das 3. Stockwerke und vor allem der deutliche Geruch nach Abwasser im Bad. Er war nur dann zu ertragen, wenn man ständig das Fenster öffnete.

Great location. OK hotel.

Great location. Friendly staff. Well stocked breakfast. Big bathroom. Decent shower. Gave us extra shower gel when asked as there was only one in the room for 2 people. Ample and cheap parking around the hotel.

Bed was against the wall so my fiance had to climb in. Reception didn't open until 5 so there was a queue to check in. No hand towels, only shower towels which weren't particularly big. No hot drink facilities.

Good place for a stopover

Parking was convenient, and the staff were helpful. Dog friendly.

The room was quite small, ok for one night, though. The shower head was quite old, water coming out of only part of it although good pressure.

Location was fine but all photos made it look really central - which it wasnt

Grubby and tired but at least the linen were clean.

Disappointing, better stay somewhere else.

The location was very good, just a short walk from the train station. And also close to the city center.

There are too many issues with the hotel for me to be happy about it. The shower had little water pressure and the water was always cold. The bed was small and uncomfortable. The room had no cleaning service. And the staff either didn't speak English or didn't want to.

The attention is really incredible, this hotel deserves a 3 star, very clean, organized and its location is really perfect. The gentleman speaks Spanish, French and English, excellent to feel at home

Hotel Montchapet provides well priced accommodation that covers what a traveller requires

- Handily located between train station and centre of town - Bathroom was recently renovated with a spacious shower - Comfortable bed

- Ground floor room was close to the road & passers-by’s, might be issues with noise if you like open windows.

Very convenient for the town centre - à five minute stroll. Comfortable room and pleasant staff. Good value and ideal for an overnight stay en route. On street parking readily available in immediate vicinity of hotel (4€ per day!)

This hotel is a good value. No frills but the location was great and the room was clean.

Location was good, close to city center. Owners were very friendly. Room was clean.

Towels were very thin. Tv only had French stations. Bed was hard.

Easy walk to sights & railway station

Great location, good value. Helpful people. 10 min walk from station & 10 minutes to ‘old Dijon’. Had air conditioning (but we didn’t use at this time of year.)
