Excellent location with amazing view, very nice rooms (I suggest the golf view), very professional and attentive staff, super SPA with gym and huge swimming pool.
Smaller basic rooms would need some renovation

Great location for watching golf!

the location
very old. needs renovation

Went there specifically for a place to have as a base whilst watching golf and use the spa if a chance arose. For this was perfect.
The separation of the sauna and steam rooms for male / female is rather odd.
The service offered by personnel at breakfast on one day was nothing short of disgraceful. Improved the second day but only to a 3* std

staff was really nice.

spacious room

old Swimmingpool, old Ambiente
4.5
great location and views to the golf course ( we love it).
breakfast congestion, dysfunctional coffee machine. seems to have underestimated the number of guests for service efficiency. I guess the state of preparedness may have been impacted by Covid restrictions. lack of adequate in room provision especially for suites, a coffee machine/ kettle to boil water for tea is a standard expectation.

I can not agree with the bad reviews seen here.
The hotel is quite old fashioned, but in a nice way. Lots of velvet, like kind of a darker Wes Anderson movie (in the Lobby) but nice and light in the rooms.
Personal is very friendly and accommodating. A spontaneous late checkout was agreed on without any discussion.
The hotel-owned Maserati Taxi was a nice plus aswell.
No plasticbags in the bins of the room.
Some walls really need new paint.

The location is perfect and the view quite breath taking. The breakfast spread offered a variety of choices. The staff was very pleasant and the waiter at breakfast was very pleasant and attentive. One really feels like being taken care of. For those of you who loves a good massage, ask for Jessica at the spa. she is a jewel.
The COVID pandemic has affected the general standards of many 5-star hotels. It was therefore amusing to find that the chambermaid left a plastic glove in the room; the used drinking glasses were neither washed nor replaced; the empty beverage bottle was not removed. As for the bathroom, the lid of the wastepaper bin was half broken; there were two holes on the wall; no magnifying mirror for elderly ladies; no sanitary bags and there were soap marks on the floor after the room was supposed to have been cleaned. The mattress was rather hard.

Location (near the centre of the village and golf area), lebanese menu and cuisine at the reastaurant
I don’t recommend anyone to stay at this hotel:
1. The hotel’s exterior is not as at the official pictures (see the original photos attached). The main entrance is opposite the parking area, the road towards the hotel is broken, not renovated
2. 50%!of the lamps in the corridors and above the pictures are not working, very dark and difficult to use the key and open a door
3. The sink drain in the bathroom was blocked, we asked 2 times to fix it. The cold water flowed badly. The smell in the WC was disgusting, we had to hold the window there always open, maybe the canalization was broken.
4. Our rooms was not ready upon arrival (we arrived at 16, check-in at 14).
5. In rooms wallpaper peels off, cracks in the walls, the furniture is very old and used, not renovated.
6. Too long to wait to have dinner (one evening it took 2,5 hours total, 1 hour to get the first plate)
7. Saw some guests at the reception who complained about their rooms and broken facilities.
8. No cleaning/preparing the room at the evening.
9. Very poor breakfast: no meat, jambon, salmon, no cooked hot dishes, no champagne, only cakes, omelette, bacon and sausage. Found rotten orange in the fruit’s plate.
The hotel definitely does not deserve 5 star, maybe it was 20 years ago, but they do nothing to fit the high standard. They don’t respect their clients, prices don’t fit the quality. If you don’t want to spoil you vacation, choose another hotel.

Excellent SPA with a great swimming pool. Great breakfast
Decor is not always adequate for a hotel The price is on the high end but not always justified

Very small and old room, totally overpriced (off season).

We have spent 2 nights with my family, location is really nice and place is good. I’ve seen some bad comments, old place, etc.. it’s not new but everything for is worked well, swimming pool is fantastic! Breakfast were good, a lot of food and good. Evening dinner were also really good, quick and people were nice.
