It was ok in an emergency, but will stay there again

It was clean, good location

Shared bathrooms!!! I wouldn’t have stayed there had the hotel description been a little clearer with pictures!!!

it was cheap and the lady working in the evening was very nice; in fact I would say that Leah Is the best thing about this Hotel

Great value for money - clean & friendly place for traveller on budget

Nice renovate roadside hotel, the only one in Bochum area with prices below EUR 70 - great option for travellers on budget. Recently renovated rooms, large parking lot and really helpful owner. You get what you pay for - clean room with two beds, fresh and new pillows and sheets, sink in the room, clean toilets and showers in the hallway. Don't expect luxury, but Bon Marche Bochum is better than several places in town which advertise their comfort, charge around EUR 70, and you get the same basic room - but here in Bon Marche it was sparkling clean. Automatic check in for those arriving late. The owner goes above and beyond when you need any help. I have travelled to Bochum many times this year, but budget-wise this is the only reasonable option, if your company is not paying your bills :) Good transport connections: 6 minutes walk to U-Bahn + bus stop 100 metres from hotel.

Bed full of bugs

The bed was crawling with insects. There was no staff available at all for 7 hours during the night and no one to call to get a different room. Had to sit in the infested room for 7 hours. At least 15 bugs all over the sheets, absolutely disgusting.

Best price in Bochum, but more like hostel w private toimus than hotel. Good value for money in town

The cheapest hotel in Bochum, short walk from U-bahn with bus stop in front of the hotel. Very simple, mostly for one-night stays, but If you're on budget, it's almost two times cheaper than other hotels in town. Friendly staff and good Wi-Fi. Bed was ok.

No disappointment from my side - but read hotel info carefully before booking. There is a sink in every room, but 6 toilets and 6 showers on each floor. More hostel-type accommodation with single and double roomas, so don't expect comfort.

clean quiet and cheap.

Good small cheap efficiency room. Clean and most of the facilities were decent. Quiet room on a quiet floor.

There were a few hand driers missing and a few broken in the bathrooms. The walk from the subway was pretty far with luggage.

I didn't like anything about these hostel

There wasn't a reception and a receptionist even. There wasn't a bar and a kitchen and also breakfast. There was a sink in a room but no tissue and no handsoap. There wasn't even a lobby. So it was terrible and terrible and expensive

The room was very small but has everything needed. Wc and shower and room vas clean.

The staff was not very kind. We arrived the city later than we expected. Called the hotel to say maybe we could be late. And the answer was: "Check in closed after 22.00 pm. If you are late, this is not our problem." And also they were not very helpfull for other topics. For example, they did not show where are the toilets and showers. It was not hard to find. But if they want to be hospitable to your guest, it is nice to show.

Disappointing

Very basic however if only given proper clean would be ok, the sheets had stains, the hair dryer in the shower which is on the corridor was on and off whole night which was disturbing,felt uncomfortable overall.

We booked it late so we paid a bit much in my opinion for one night with no toilet or bathroom.

Very clean. Only sink with a mirror in the room. Toilets and bathrooms are shared for the whole floor.

We could have taken 1 room for 3 people but the booking website did not say that all the rooms had a king-size bed and a single bed.
