Old very basic Hotel. It have bar and restaurant, i think... But at least those were not open, in that saturday evening.
When i booked in, forget to ask breakfast option (they have, i found that in the morning) and i have bought breakfast stuff in the evening before from bakery.

Everything was very nice. Laia was very polite and friendly. It’s located in a small village but still the location is great, they were clean and comfortable. I came on my bike and they have a safe place to store it.

Fantastic location in the center of La Pobla de Segur. As expected, the standard was simple. The breakfast was good and the personal was great.

Very good room with balcony and fine views. Comfortable bed and clean. Characterful traditional furnishings and decoration. Central to old part of town and recommended.

The place was impeccably clean. I was truly impressed by how white and pressed the bedsheets were.
My room's window looked out into the atrium and keeping the windows open at all times circulated the air and I was not that hot. At night I even covered myself with a sheet. Natural AC doing great work.
Outside of cleaning crew, I saw no one. The staff was simply not there.
The walls are so thin that I heard my neighbor snoring. Both of our doors were closed. One time at 11:30 at night, my down the hall neighbor decided to start watching a movie. I heard every word loud and clear until I got up and told him to turn it down. Another lovely morning at 6:30, someone downstairs decided to play a rap/hiphop mix on their phone. The cooling atrium is also very good at carrying sounds.
The church nearby sounds the bell every 15 minutes (1 ring at 15 minutes, 2 for half hour, and the corresponding number of rings for each hour.

The Fonda was very central , spotlessly clean . Room was basic but as I’d expected for the price . The shared bathroom was very clean and just across a small corridor . I was on the fourth floor which was fine and the view was incredible
Another pillow on the bed

Staff very friendly and helpful, Excellent location.
Bike friendly, there is a dedicated storage space close to the accommodation for mountain bike enthusiasts. There are plenty of MTB trails in the area.
From the train station you have to walk 1km, but it is a pleasant walk. If you arrive by bus, the bus station is right next to the accommodation.

Great location very clean super value for the $ (keeping in mind this is pension type experience) One thing..they close at 8pm, and it is a small, lean operation, so call and confirm they will be there for your arrival

For 18 euros per room, it was excellent value. Clean, comfortable room and good bathroom with lots of hot water. Very good host and very quiet. I slept very well.

Location was amazing, it was in the old town. Very beautiful street and buildings. The hotel building itself was very interesting, great to explore for the architecture enthusiasts. It was a bit sad that there had been very basic modern renovation done to this magnificent old building (I mean in the rooms and hallways), Would have liked to see how it looked like originally. There should be old photos of the rooms on the walls of the hotel. The room was small but it was OK. We liked that there was a sink in the room. Price was very decent.
Only one plug per room. Had to go through a lot of trouble to charge all our electronic devices for the next day. Walls were thin and you can hear the neighbours all the time.

We were a bit worried about the church clock after reading one of the reviews, but this seems to have been silenced since that person's stay.

Three guys meeting friends on a road trip across the south Pyrenees. Poblar is a great spot and I have stayed here before and will stay here again.
There is a loud church clock nearby for the ;light sleepers. I did find that an extra glass of beer helps overcome the disturbance
