It was clean comfortable and quiet and had a nice secure place to store our bikes. Close to the Bright town centre. The staff were great. Nothing fancy, but great value for money and an excellent location.
I had trouble adjusting the shower water temperature, apart from that everything was fine.

it was a surprise to say the least. The properties renovation was excellent and the thought that went into the space that was there was very imaginative.

Happy with Bright Velo

We had a fantastic room which included a lounge area and a huge beautiful bathroom. It is close to everything in Bright, restaurants, coffee shops, clothing shops and bike hire.
Loved it all

The view from the balcony onto Ireland Street was great!!

Tim the owner is very approachable and active at seeking feedback from his customers face to face. The Head of Cleaning is also very amiable and anticipates the needs of customers. She understood we had extra requirements travelling with small children. You can't get a better location being at the top of Irelands street right in the middle of Bright centre. Great facilities for cyclists.

Comfy beds, lots of room for the family, right in town and a place to store bikes! What more could you ask for. Access to a washing machine you say - well yes they have that too! Staff were lovely and friendly, always asking if we needed anything as the room isn’t cleaned each day. We will definitely be back!!
Nothing - we liked it all. A small suggestion might be that it would be great to have a hanging rack to help to be able to dry all the towels, swimmers and stinky post-bike clothes.

The staff were really friendly. Our room was nice and clean and had all we needed. The location was right in the middle of everything. Laundry, gym and bike storage facilities were all useful.
Our second bedroom had a mesh/fake plant thing on it which made the room really dark. This room also got very hot. We had to leave the air con on all night which gave us the sniffles and a bit of a chill each night. A ceiling or pedestal fan would’ve been great, as well as removing the mesh. The restaurant outside our window was loud which was only an issue some nights when our 1 year old was trying to sleep.

Great location, beautiful boutique rooms, great restaurant and cocktail bar, bike storage and laundry. Comfy common area.
They did not change towels, make up rooms or clean the dirty dishes from the common area. The code locks on the doors were finicky.

Great location.
Not what I was expecting from the photos I saw. Very noisy from people outside, and you can hear air conditioning and water pipes through the walls.

Central location. Beautiful restaurant downstairs. Cosmetically beautiful renovation -(but plumbing not practical).
Noisy- little separation between downstairs pub noise and upstairs. (Having a door on the stairs for guests would help the sound vacuum from the downstairs).
Tap neck too short/ round basin not positioned correctly and consequently water spilled over every time you turned on the tap. And the toilet seat was too small for the bowl and therefore not sturdy. And finally the signs alerting us to the fact the smoke detector would go off for the WHOLE property if we did not shut the bathroom door - with fan on of course -when showering. For $300 per night I would have expected the basics like plumbing to work.

Property was beautiful, perfectly neat and clean. At first I thought that the building would be old but my family loved the old style rooms and it was in very good condition. Couldn’t expect more. The location was also good, woolies was on few minutes drive and the local market was on walking distance. Car park was also easily accessible.
All the kitchen amenities were available however it wasn’t mentioned on website. Extra blankets and kitchen with sofa and chairs was good where my family sat together and enjoyed food.
Lastly, it was quiet and relaxing place to have good rest after long day of travel.
Nothing. Everything was perfect.

The room was even lovelier than I had imagined, and very comfortable.
My only (rather first world view) comment would be the lighting in the bathroom was poor...it was super tricky to do my makeup in the morning! But really, if that is the only gripe I have, I think that if I was to return to Bright I would frequent Velo again. Thank you

cleanliness, location
the restaurant is very close the property and it was very noisy. someone was on the phone call at midnight and it was loud enough to wake us up from the sleep.

The location was super close to the main street of Bright which was great. Storage facility for bikes was super helpful.
Our room was right next to the outdoor seating area for the bar/restaurant - so super loud in regards to noise from the bar, the windows only had sparse venetian type blinds which didn't fully cover the windows, so felt like anyone could look in at any time, including the staff area below. Didn't really block much out.
When we turned up at night we all tripped over the little garden next to the entry, and the weird little dipped welcome mat to the entrance. My son axed himself tripping over the same garden area during the day hurting his knee and hand falling onto the concrete - to be fair the only staff member we saw during the whole time said she would get a crowbar and get rid of it as "everyone" trips over it, and she did get it done and she brought my son some ice for his hand. So many trip hazards in the whole place.
The water pressure and temp during everyone's showers was horrible - one minute we get scalded and the next we were frozen. Sure first world problem but we paid a lot of money for the room. And throughout the whole stay the smoke alarms were flashing orange which I'm sure isn't a good thing from a safety point of view as when we were leaving someone came into the room to check to see if ours was "flashing orange too".
None of our coffee pods or shampoo or conditioners etc were replaced each day. No bin in main ensuite or other bathroom. Bin in kitchen/living area wasn't cleared out each day.

Great location.
Was very noisy due to the pub downstairs.
