Locatie aan de haven, goede fietsenstalling, zeer goed en uitgebreid ontbijt

2e etage zonder lift, je moet hele pand door, bed maar 140cm breed. Douche was zeer slecht. Goed water maar het loopt niet weg hele badkamer staat blank.

Aushängeschild für Dänemark

Die Lage ist Klasse, direkt am kleinen Hafen und so zentral daß vieles fußläufig erreichbar ist. Die Zimmer sind nett gestaltet und es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet eine reichhaltige Auswahl und ist auch optisch sehr ansprechend. Besondere Erwähnung findet das unglaublich nette und hilfsbereite Personal, vielen Dank ihnen. Alles in allem ist dieses Hotel ein Aushängeschild für Dänemark 👍👍👍

Skønt og super hyggeligt sted

Morgenmaden er bare super lækker . Beliggenheden kan ikke være bedre . Personale og hele stemningen på hotellet gør en stor forskel - kommer bestemt igen .

Bruseren i badeværelset var elendig !

Absolut pengene værd!

Dejligt sted i skønne omgivelser. Fantastisk personale, meget hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden var særdeles god, nok pt det bedste vi har prøvet. Der var bare gjort noget ekstra ud af det! Fra perfekte blødkogte æg til hjemmelavet mysli og hjemmelavet nutella. Meget behagelige senge og pæne badeværelser.

Room with a great view. Town with great seafood.

Our room 310 was the uppermost room in the "tower" part of the hotel, just over the road from the reception. This room gave a lovely, panoramic view of the harbour and surrounding roof tops. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful with information about Svendborg and what to visit. Svendborg, being a fishing port, is full of restaurants serving great seafood.

We were on the third floor of the old part of the hotel which does not have a lift. OK when you are young and fit but a bit of a hike when, like us, you are on old age pensioners.

Well located, old school hotel and spacious rooms.

Great little hotel. Beautiful old fashioned lobby and bar upon entry and the rooms were huge and well appointed. Even had a small separate kitchen room. Highly recommended.

Nothing at all to say bad against the hotel. Couldn't check in early, but they told this before I got there and they were happy to watch my luggage whilst I went and explored the town.

Just fine

Rooms are clean and well appointed. Historic buildings with a prime location on the water and right in the heart of town.

Hotel room door needs a secondary latch to lock from inside. This would avoid unexpected interruptions and help us feel more secure.

nice people and great location. we had a nice room

great corner room with extra space and a small mini fridge. Nice breakfast part of a bigger hotel. Don't miss the marina museum nearby.

this is just in general in Denmark and some other European hotels I am spoiled. I like a lot of towels and I don't like the showers where the water goes all over the floor.

Best place to stay when you travel to Aeroskobing by a ferry

We drove from Frankfurt directly to this place and the best part to start with is the parking facility just next to the hotel. The next day we had to take the ferry to Aeroskobing and it was super duper easy as the ferries started from this point. The location was great and the breakfast was very nice indeed.

The rooms were located along the long balcony one after the other and we didn't like that much. The rooms were poorly lit and to us that was another negative point.

Stressful.

The position in Svendborg was very good. The receptionist was very helpful and positive, even after we had complained about several different matters.

We were in the annex, across the road. The bathroom left a lot to be desired, with water covering the entire floor if one used the shower, which made it dangerous.

Breakfast was the highlight of this stay

I swear I had read the hotel had air conditioning but like most of Scandinavia it did not. We visited during a heat wave and were given one fan when I inquired for our two rooms. We had to keep our windows open (luckily they were old windows that opened wide). However this meant were dealt with lots of noise. Svendborg itself is a fairly forgetabble town and everything seemed to shut down here by 8 or 9 pm. Yet late in the evening we heard noise coming from rowdy teens on the streets, people in a nearby bar that was closed(?) and people cleaning the restuarnat below our room until midnight. None of that is anything the hotel can control though. The hotel has rooms above their own restuatant and then on the upper floor across the street above another restaurant. The halls smell musty as do the rooms. The entire facility could benefit from some modern upgrades and freshening up. We did not like that the bathroom had no shower stall just a furtain and a drain on the floor. This made a mess but we found this design at other Scandinavian hotels too. The breakfast was the highlight here and we ate outside on the patio. We stayed just one night so we could take a day trip to Aero. I assume that is why most people stay here. I can't imagine what else would bring someone to visit this town. The hotel is an excellent location for those venturing on a ferry to other islands like Aero.

Musty odor. Beds uncomfortable. No AC which meant windows needed to stay open and there was a fair amount of outside noise late at night.

Exceptional

The staff were really friendly. the gentleman on the reception was very helpful and nothing was too much of a problem. Beautiful court yard. Breakfast was exceptional so much choice. Will definitely stay again. So close to the station and the ferry. Wonderful. TAK
