Wonderful island, not so wonderful services

The location and the cleanliness

No improvement since 10 years ago. Prices go up, services are very low (as one example, no toiletry in a 4* hotel) 6 parking spots for the entire hotel

An Otherwise Adequate Hotel Spoilt By Ongoing Major Road And Earthworks

The Lefkas Hotel is located very close to the bars, clubs, cafes and restaurants of the Angelou Sikelianou esplanade waterfront of Lefkada township, as well as the famous Lefkada Wooden Bridge. Just a further short walk from the esplanade is the centre of Lefkada township itself, with all of its many attractions including its many cafes and restaurants. The rooms in the hotel were clean and comfortable.

The hotel seemed very short-staffed while I was there, and the few staff I dealt with were not very friendly or helpful. There are major road and groundworks going on (as of April 2023) at the front of the hotel making access to the hotel - even by foot - very problematic indeed. Parking is also a major problem created by the works in progress. My estimate is that these works will continue probably for another six months at least. The staff were not very helpful at all with suggesting alternative parking arrangements.

the only positive thing was that as an apology for the worst hotel experience, we received a very average breakfast, and maybe I would have had a better breakfast at a street stall on the corner of the street.

advertised sea view was behind the construction site. the construction site around the entire hotel made it impossible to park near the hotel. we were accommodated in a non-reconstructed part and the experience was truly appalling. the mirror was rusted around the edges like you see in antique stores. Coco - Mat advertised by the hotel are probably only on the picture in booking.com. the pillows and mattress were appalling and we woke up so broken that I haven't experienced this at a hotel in a long time.

This hotel could be lovely but we would NOT recommend it due to the poor maintenance of the rooms

The views are lovely

The hotel contrary to the description of “recently renovated” was in a serious state of disrepair. We booked a junior suite. There was no toilet paper or glasses to drink from in room. The spa bath did not work and leaked profusely. The chairs on the balcony were rusty. Grout between tiles moldy. Most seriously a socket fell off the wall by the shower head giving you a serious mix of electricity and water!!!

Excellent view. Great location. Clean room.

Late check in. Although it was at 3:30 pm (late enough), a lady from the staff that was really rude, told us that it was at 4:00 pm. No place to hang our swimsuits and towels. We put them on the chairs of the balcony. In the bathroom there was no place to hang the hand towel. The lighting of the room was very low. The room was a little bit dark at night.

Superb

We arrived late and stayed for one night before moving into villa accommodation for the rest of the week. It was great for this. Right in the centre (but not noisy) and very friendly staff. They kept breakfast open for us after a late start and when my wife left her purse in the room when we checked out, they got in touch to let us know.

Nothing really - it was perfect for a one night stay.
