Choix de petits déjeuners OK. Petit déjeuner continental un peu cher. Produits corrects.
Petit déjeuner continental à améliorer

Lovely little hotel away from the main tourist area, easy parking outside the door.
Great cycle routes around the hotel and well signposted.
Not the hotels fault, but only a small number of places that serve evening food, so book one early in the day.

Comfy bed, clean bedsheets, clean shower. Staff was really nice and kind.
The WiFi networks don't work. They have 2 different WiFi, but none worked for us (room 18).

Lovely location right opposite church( clock chimes silent overnight until 6am!) Such a friendly welcome.Good breakfast. Rapid response to pre arrival questions.
Being very picky but a plug socket for the very welcome tea/coffee kettle would be helpful. We had to move the whole unit on to the floor next to nearest socket! Otherwise everything good.

We did not have breakfast. Hotel was well located in Barneville
Room was small but clean. The tv was not plugged in and as the connection was in the ceiling we could not reach it. Staff are off duty at 9 pm so our intention to watch the Commonwealth Games was thwarted!

It was very warm and difficult to access fresh air in room 31. No air con and opening windows on the ground floor was neither sensible nor easy to do. Therefore sleep, despite a very comfortable bed, was not as it should have been

Some members of the staff were great. So was the bread too
How to get there, e.g. t he door code and unavailability of the staff during day time

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
We arrived by bicycle on Sunday evening, when the local restaurant was closed. They booked a table at a fabulous restaurant nearby and organised a taxi.
Also the buffet breakfast was delicious .
I would highly recommend this place.

the room was good , the bathroom was very good . breakfast was ok . the parking was good .
the attitude of the first woman i met ,very rude unhelpful and nasty . ( i think she is in the wrong job ) no restaurant , which in my book makes this a b&b not a hotel .

Located in the centre of the very busy little town, the hotel offered a comfortable room with a very pleasant view across rolling countryside. An excellent shower and a comfortable bed made for a pleasant overnight stay. Breakfast (choice of large or small) is served individually on a tray - adequate.
Car parking space is conveniently accessed at the back of the property but gates are locked at 9pm.
Unfortunately the hotel's restaurant was closed during our visit on Saturday owing to a staff shortage, but that is not a criticism of the hotel, more attributable to the Covid problems facing the hospitality sector everywhere.
Note: The car parking is accessible through a narrow 'tunnel' being part of the building. Large cars (SUVs etc.) may have difficulty getting through, if at all - alternative parking is available around the town.

Friendly welcome.
Good instructions for various security codes to get in and out of the property.
Off-road parking good (although down a VERY narrow alleyway).
Comfortable room.
Fresh pastries for breakfast.
It felt a bit like the minimum - no decor or character in the rooms, very functional.
Two pastries on a plate with a drink for breakfast.
Not much of the personal touch.

we came to visit my cousin in town. we book two rooms for four people even though we arrive with 5 people
we told right away the manager that my younger daughter would sleep at my cousins place. nevertheless the manager keeps spying on us the WHOLE week end. Every time my daughter would be with us the manager would make a disrespectful comment. this is unbelievable!

Easy to find in a nice town run by very friendly ladies. We had a family room and the view was of a flat roof and walls, however the TV got all the BBC channels so the kids were happy! Great shower in a modern bathroom. Beware that the parking is through a long narrow alley - it takes a normal size car but not a wider vehicle (our VW T5 transporter wasn't going to get through even with the mirrors flipped in). There is free overnight parking around 50m away behind the church but other parking in the town in max 1hr 30min with the blue parking time card required for your car dashboard.
While the evening meals were tasty they were very small portions and left us rather hungry - more than 1 small basket of bread between 4 would also have helped! Wine is only served by the glass or bottle with no option for a demi of house-wine. Breakfast was also rather limited.

Bed was big and very comfortable.
Nice garden at the back overlooking the countryside with chairs and table so you can have your own picnic.
Shower took a while to warm up.
