The kindness of the owner.
The room was cleaner than big hotel groups.
The decoration in the room gave it a home feeling.

Friendly staff.
Easy to extend the stay - asked for one more night, no problem. Really enjoyed the option to have fresh bread ordered and hung at the door in the morning.
no complaints

wonderful location and very friendly family run operation. stunning views and everything spotless
Breakfast was a little expensive compared to other stays in Bavaria and we had a side room which didn’t see much sun and restricted our time on the fantastic balcony. Please don’t misunderstand, the hotel is wonderful

The room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed to be self-sufficient. We could definitely envision staying several nights as it would be a comfortable space to work as well.

Very nice room with all commodities you need. I realy like the restaurant like boot in the room. Balcony has a good size. Closed to town. Bed comfy.
No scrambled eggs or toaster for bread at breakfast.

We really liked the dining table corner placed just next to the big window overlooking the mountain. The staff is nice. Very close to the ski area and walking distance to restaurants.

Nice apartment, nice location and nice view
We asked to do a laundry and the owner didn't offer us to do it in the hotel, we had to drive 30min to do it on another city.. So we lost 2 hours..
One of the stove top was not working, but luckily the other one did :)

Room was large with eating area and small kitchen. Breakfast was decent. Coffee ok. The hotel is off the beaten path so if you are walking everywhere you might want to be in town. We went for the cattle drive and it came right behind the hotel so it was a great choice.
Hall lights constantly off. Had to constantly switch on. It's hard to navigate with your luggage when it's dark! Guests have to come down in shifts for breakfast. Would love a better egg option. The bed was hard and the pillows were not very comfortable. Europeans only use a large comforter for covering (no top sheet or blanket). This makes for a hot sleep when there is no cool air flowing through the room. They also do not have air conditioners in most of their hotels. Not a deal breaker just not comfortable.

The location of Pfronten for the surrounding countryside is lovely. this would be true of any hotel in the area. The room was good however I would call it a hotel room with a mini-kitchen rather than an apartment.
This business sent an email via the Booking.com system asking me to cancel my booking.com reservation and to book directly through their system to gain a 5% discount - I found this unprofessional. We were promised a ground-floor apartment and this was confirmed by email and the hotel's own website says rooms for people with pets will only be allocated from the rooms on the ground floor. When we arrived we were told there were no more ground-floor apartments available as they were booked out. The manner that we were told this was rude. The TV had 250 channels, most of which did not work or would fail after you started to watch something. There was no guide to say where the main channels are. Our neighbours in their apartment had the same problem so this was not just one TV. The WiFi was "flakey" at best, but this is not unusual in hotels where the WLAN has been retro-fitted and cell phone 4G LTE coverage was fine.
Both the angle from the bed to view the TV (when working) was bad with a wooden pillar blocking the view and the lighting in the room was insufficient to be able to read a book (or kindle) in bed.

We rented a room with a little kitchenette. We particularly appreciated the dining table corner which was well placed just next to the big window overlooking the mountain. The view while having breakfast / dinner was fantastic. The balcony was also nice and the area was very quiet. The bed was comfortable.
The kitchenette was very small and basic, and I found the stove top a bit difficult to use (hard to regulate the heat). But we managed to have breakfast and cook 4 simple meals. A toaster would have been nice though...

It was a great place in a beautiful location! Very quiet and the rooms have full mini kitchens!
From the website, it was not clear that breakfast was an extra charge, and it would be helpful to have that info. listed in the description of the property.

It’s an amazing little apartment, where we have our own kitchen, bathroom, balcony and a little dining area. Moreover, the view in front the hotel is stunningly beautiful, especially in the morning when the mountains surrounded by mist.
The environment is quite comfortable and relaxing.
We have a dog with us and all of us felt welcome when we arrived.
The owner is friendly and straightforward. After 3 days of stay we realised there’re more for us to explore, so we extended our stay easily just by letting the owner knows.
I personally find it convenient that we can order fresh breads for the next morning everyday before 8pm.
Overall, I enjoyed it very much and couldn’t help but strongly recommend this hotel.
There’s absolutely nothing I can complain about.

Felt like a home away from home. Big livingroom, bedroom, bathroom and a kitchenette. Good interior. Balcony connected the bedroom with livingroom. And the balcony was separated from our neighbors with a wall, so you have your privacy. The room was very clean, comfortable and had all the necessary things for the kitchen. Views of the mountains from the apartment were amazing. This hotel surpassed my expectations and I really enjoyed this stay.

Nice cozy apartment, great location with the most amazing views to the local mountains. In the apartment were all basic necessities for cooking and self-catering. Place was clean and staff was helpful.
Elevator would be nice, when you have heavy luggage.
Wifi was sometimes dropping in the rush hours (evening and morning).

Everything was fine and you have a personal cooking area that is very useful
The extra parking area was so full of snow and ice that we were not able to park there

First of all, you can arrive only at 3 p.m., and you need to leave the hotel at 10 a.m. Secondly, we are from Ukraine and the administrator talk to us as we don’t know English or stupid… My husband forgot his password to the credit card and the administrator was rude and all the time did his own stuff while talking to us. Thirdly, the view isn’t beautiful, the hotel is overpriced. And finally, they wrote that they have coffee machine but they don’t even have coffee at the room…

This was a great place. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with self catering facilities. Super clean and all the kitchen equipment we needed. You could have breakfast there or just order breakfast rolls to be delivered. Owner was very friendly and the location is excellent.
