Handig gelegen, ruime kamers, degelijk ontbijt.

Van der Valk is duur geworden, maar de kwaliteit is niet mee geëvolueerd. Ontbijt was vroeger verser of gaf althans die indruk.

Super hotel met van A tot Y!

De kamer was voortreffelijk! Ruim, mooi, schoon, overzichtelijk en met precies de faciliteiten die ik zocht na 14 uur werk. Ook het personeel was vriendelijk, van het inchecken tot aan de roomservice. Ik ga hier graag weer naartoe.

De Wi-Fi viel mij erg tegen, maar dat was ook echt het enige waar ik teleurgesteld over was. Wi-Fi, welke Wi-Fi? Gelukkig heb ik een goed 4G abonnement. Mijn verwachtingen waren ook anders, want ik had verwacht dat het hotel een fatsoenlijke Smart TV zou hebben, maar dat was helaas niet zo.

a good hotel if you are trouble free. If you happen to have an issue do not expect sympathy.

I liked the position of the hotel and the space of the room and communal areas

I was sick with flu the day after my arrival and asked for a doctor. I was given a telephone number that I should call myself of a GP practice that kept me on line for ages . When they finally replied they told me could not come to the see me for a flu. I had to wait for the virus to go and take painkillers. Unlikely I had no pain killers with me. Two days later I lost my cellular phone and asked at the reception to make a call to my family in Italy. They replied that it was not possible to use the hotel own phone. I had to resort to a client of the hotel bar that allowed me to use his personal device.

We was looking foor room with buble bath, and that perfect. So relaxing and fun. Room servis and food perfect. 🤩

When we turn TV off it turns back on. 🤔

Very good overall.

The restaurant food quality was excellent although the extent of the menu a bit limited if your staying more than a few days.

The shower temperature was variable. The room cleaners turned the room temperature up after I had lowered it, much to my disliking.

Night reception is not friendly at all, 24/7 reception is not true, when you call from the room to the reception in midnight I was in the wait for hours so I called with my cellphone while I was on my way to the reception you will see a guy on his phone nobody in the lobby doing literally nothing. And when you say to him that he looks really busy and he can’t take the phone he told me that I offended him now and He refused to open the door for me while I was only getting knifes and forks for my food I waited 30 minutes in the lobby because that reception didn’t wanted to open the door for me anymore after 30 minutes his colleague came and opened the door for me also his colleague just answered the phone straight away when you called I couldn’t get in my room where I paid for absolutely ridiculous

Ideal place to stay as located just off the main motorways etc.

Room and bathroom were a little tired but still comfortable and smart looking. View from the balcony was fantastic looking at the waterways next to the hotel. Food in the restaurant was very good and resasonably priced. Staff very friendly and attentive. The overall look of the reception and restaurant area was fantastic.

Keycard didnt work and had to walk the entire length of the hotel to ask reception to provide a new key. The hallways condition was very bad compared to the rest of the hotel with a bucket catching water, missing ceiling tiles, stained carpets, divets of wall missing presumably caused by cases smashing into them but not touched up. Outdoor bar and restaurant area overlooks the car park which is a shame given the view on the opposite side of the hotel.

Hotel too far out of town. Taxi's expensive and one driver tried to cheat us. Whilst food was good the menu was limited especially at lunch time.
