Room was okay, for the price you would have expected more!
Wifi really really bad!! There is no cell connection so without wifi no way to communicate

Nice quiet location with free parking. Easy access to bus to take us to downtown Heidelberg. Nice family run property. You can tell they take pride in their business. The meals in their restaurant were fantastic! We wish them all the best.
Wi-fi didn't always work in our room. Wasn't able to get mobile data either at times.

Because it was in the mountains it was a little cooler, and there was an elevator,
If we did not have GPS we would not be able to find this place, way up in he mountains, odd location for a hotel, in a neighborhood of regular homes. Breakfast was poor. Hair dryer was broken,

It was nice and clean. No disturbance at all. Comfortable. Nice location in between the mountains.
Breakfast could be better. Need to increase breakfast timing. A little refrigerator in the room seemed necessary. Same with a kettle or microwave.

I enjoyed how clean the rooms were and that their family run restaurant was right next door, where they served big portions.
I had rather high expectations to the breakfast after I read some comments on booking.com and got a bit disappointed with such a “normal” hotel breakfast.

The location is good.
The room was very expensive (85 euros plus 10 euros for our 2 dogs = 95 euros a night) compared to the service and quality. It was small with views to nowhere and very uncomfortable pillows and matress. The WIFI worked so bad that is like if you don't have it and you don't have neither 4G mobile network in the village. Very very poor breakfast. I wanted to do go away ASAP after only one night.
We arrived very late for the check in due to a massive retention in Frankfurt (Max hour is only 18:30 and we arrived 21:30). When we arrived the man was really really angry because we haven't called. We sent a message using the Booking app in the middle of the retention and nobody answered. We had a lot of problems with the KPN mobile netwok in Germany. Anyway we said sorry several times because it is true we arrived very late for the Germany standards but the attitude of the man was totally unaceptable.
If you have a hostel some unexpected issues are guaranteed. If you don't like people from other countries don't open a hostel in a touristic place. We were very tired after 6 hours of travel from our home in Amsterdam but I was very close to go away on that very moment.

The receptionist was absent as there were only a few rooms occupy
My room was in the wing where there were no guests so it was cold and unfriendly
