Nette Altstadt für wenige Tage.

Sehr pittoreske Unterkunft. Schön anzusehen in der Altstadt. Zimmer waren sehr schön und sauber. Schöne Lage in der Altstadt.

Frühstücks- und Terrassenbereich sehr heiß, ohne Ventilator oder sonstige Kühlung. Frühstück einem 4-Sterne-Hotel nicht angemessen, Eier oft alt, Fisch nicht gekühlt, Dosenobst, abwechselnd eine Sorte Melone, manchmal auch nicht … Aufgefüllt wurde sehr zögerlich. Frühstück von 08:00 - 10:15 Uhr ist fast wie in der Jugendherberge. Nicht mal einen Kaffee gab es vorab. Ungeschultes Personal. Ein Pool wird gefühlt von allen Tauben der Stadt als Versorgungsbecken genutzt, dementsprechend viele Federn usw. im Wasser. Sehr unhygienisch. Parkplatzsituation desaströs.

Perfect stay, amazingly helpful staff’

The pool was beautiful, the location is very central however there is no parking by the hotel but you can get lucky with street parking.

We enjoyed our stay!

This hotel is nicely located. The employees are very friendly and helpful. we really enjoyed eating breakfast outside near the pool. the breakfast was very good. The room was large and comfortable.

A Cozy Hotel with Excellent Service

I recently stayed at this hotel and I was very pleased with my experience. The hotel staff was very accommodating and they even upgraded our room which was a nice surprise. The room was beautiful with a lovely terrace and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

However, there were a couple of things that were not ideal. The wifi signal in our room was weak and we had trouble connecting to the internet. Additionally, the hot water in the shower ran out quickly and we had to endure cold water towards the end of our shower.

Quaint and nice boutique hotel with dedicated service

The location is great, close to many restaurants, shops and amenities. Although there is no parking on site, you can park at the public car park which is about 5 minute walk at Euro 14 overnight. The hotel service staff is extremely friendly and takes time to explain the hotel's facilities and breakfast menu to us. We were served welcome drink at the pool and a fruit basket in the room. Breakfast is buffet style with a good enough selection. Overall a pleasant stay and at the modest price we paid, it was excellent.

The toilet is a bit small and the vanity table at the toilet sink has little space.

It was lovely to stay again, and we shall look forward to our next visit.

The location, ambience, and helpful friendly staff who could not do enough for you. Excellent breakfast included with a most convivial atmosphere.

The room was quite dark and dated - especially the bathroom with poor shower facility. The shower screen was at the wrong end! And there was not enough light in the bathroom. Also slightly frustrating that other guests left towels unattended for extended periods of time on the limited poolside bedding.

Superb

Rimondi Hotel We were a group of 5 adults and booked 2 seperate rooms. 1x standard room (upgraded on arrival for free by the hotel so it was next to our additional room) and 1x mezzanine room. Hotel is situated in a restored traditional building with a nice atmosphere. Hotel is seperated into 2 buildings- seperated by a small pathway. Rooms were large in size. Hotel centrally located in the old town of Rethymno which means all sites are within easy walking distance. Hotel has 2 pools and 2 raised terrace areas which are nice for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Nice breakfast- buffet style with hot drinks, yoghurt, cold meets, cheese, fruit, traditional Greek pies, bread and a range of egg options. Staff were friendly, attentive and pleasant throughout our stay, nothing was too much of an inconvenience- even appearing woth glasses of water whilst relaxing at the pool area. . We would stay here again.

Despite some small issues in 1 our of rooms only- air conditioner in mezzanine bedroom stopped working several times during of our stay and some dirt on the room floor on our arrival- the staff tried to help as quick and as much as possible, which was a nice touch (even despite the hot unsettled night's sleep)

Charming hotel in the heart of charming old town

The location is in the heart of old Town next to most of the landmarks and shopping area. Very close to the beach. We stayed in Palazzo. The upper floor isn't recommended for young kids because the of the stairs. We have a big terrace. At night there were a bit noisy because of the music nearby, luckily it didn't last all night. There are 2 small pools and 1 jacuzzi. One is located on the residence side and the other is located on the reception side which is a little more charming by its atmosphere. My wife had booked the "Deep Tissue Massage." The hotel has brought a spa therapist from Aegeo Spa for me. No need to go outside to find one. Really convenient and the massage was really good said my wife. Breakfast is also excellent. With variety of choices including Greek ones. I got to try the Rizogalo (Greek Rice Pudding) for the first time and I loved it! The service and staffs are all polite and professional. Thank you for your hospitality. We all enjoyed our time in this hotel. Hopefully we get to come back and stay.

Loved every minute of it!

Lovely boutique hideaway in the centre of the old town. Quiet and relaxed with two courtyard swimming pools and comfortable, light rooms. The staff were fantastic!

hidden gem

Everything - service, staff wonderful, pool area idyllic

Nothing, only the dreadful party of guests who didn’t appreciate that boutique doesn’t cater for large parties and patience needs to be shown if you all arrive at peak time and can’t get a table for 8! We hated seeing the lovely staff stressed and being spoken to like slaves. if you want Mexican resort scaled facilities, don’t come here, leave it for smaller families and couples who appreciate small is beautiful.

Phenomenal stay in Rethymnon

We booked Rimondi as a treat, after a long period without a holiday outside of the UK due to the covid pandemic, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, our stay exceeded expectations. The staff were exceptional; friendly, warm and so helpful with car rental, restaurant recommendations, and COVID testing. The room was stunning, with a mezzanine style, very comfy bed and absolutely spotless. The location is excellent, right in the middle of the old town but off a side street so quiet at night. The courtyard areas were the perfect place to relax after a day exploring, or to shelter from the heat of the day. Breakfast was plentiful, with hot and cold options, and delicious. One day the hotel even did us a box to takeaway as we wanted to leave early to get to the beaches. Couldn’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Beautiful pool, spotlessly clean everywhere, friendly helpful staff . Fantastic location .very good Wi-Fi. I would definitely recommend a stay.

Sept 2020 Stay

Great location in the heart of the old town. Distance to the beach and historical sites perfect short walking distance. The amount of restaurants and bars was exceptional in this area. Rethymno has loads of places to eat. Towards the main beach can get a little noisy but this location you are spoilt for choice. Pools not really used as we stayed in a room with its own HOTTUB and we used the beach everyday. The staff were the real credit at the hotel as they very friendly, helpful and all spoke perfect ENGLISH.

A place to remember

Quaint hotel with a rich history, that staff were very nice and friendly and nothing seemed too much for them they were so helpful, the hotel was spotless, the rooms were spacious and well furnished, the bed in our room was the biggest I've ever slept in and was extremely comfortable, this hotel made our holiday great, its centred right in the old town area so you walked a few steps and you found all the fabulous bar, restaurant and shops, the people of this town are so nice and friendly which made us feel welcomed warmly I can't speak highly enough them

A bit of noise the odd morning due to the few very loud people who went past the hotel at night but that was few and far between
