We've stayed before and returned because we loved it so much. The location is perfect, the staff are absolutely amazing and our room was perfect.
Would like to thank Alex the concierge for always having a smile for us and being so ready to help and a big thank you to Vicki for again, always smiling and just being a lovely person who does an amazing job. Hope to see you again June next year :😀
Nothing we didn't like

This is a lovely hotel situated above a cafe opposite the new port, a short walk from the old port where we arrived. Alexandros on the front reception was attentive and helpful and the breakfasts fine and varied. The room was of a good size with a small balcony overlooking the port where you could sit and watch the world go by. Tea and coffee, water provided along with kettle. Lots of good restaurants nearby.
slightly dated bathroom but fine for our needs

We really liked it here, the positioning was absolutely great, very close to the city center. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful with decent variation.
Also we really liked the ambiance of the rooms with the imperfect stone walls, it added a very nice "antique" touch.
Maybe the curtains would be great if they were a little bit wider. We had our windows exactly on one of the alleys.
Besides that, nothing to add, everything was exceeding our expectations.

The welcome from Alexandros was very friendly and he gave us superb recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Our room was really comfortable and the view was magnificent. Breakfast was plentiful and unhurried on the terrace.

perfect location
it’s too noisy with no proper sound isolation, so you hear everything in the street until very late

great location and fabulous breakfasts

The room was big, very cool, the Aircon was quiet. We had a large comfy bed, a fridge and a kettle. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was good.
The road was noisy at night but we expected this due to the location and I feel this is reflected in the price.

Hospitality. Location.
Our room was facing the breakfast balcony so we could not have privacy with open windows.

The staff treated us very nicely. The view from the balcony was cool, especially at the night. Hotel itself is quite clean and very good looking. Position of the hotel is good, because of the market place next to the hotel building, restaurants and beaches are also quite near.
Room could have at least small kitchen. There were not many things we didnt like.

Good location. Staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. Good mattress and aircon was lovely.

Beautiful place.
Some road noise, but that's what you get at city hotel.

The hotel is a beautiful old building dated 1826 with big comfortable rooms and a
nice view to the port. Very close to the chora and close to the most beautiful beeches of poros. Alexis, the manager of the hotel is very kind, helpful and made our stay even more comfortable. Great place, recommend 100%
4.5
A traditional hotel under new management. Owner Alex was very helpful and also has plans to progressively renovate the rooms. Our room was spacious, with views towards the commuter ferry terminal and yacht moorings - and direct access to the terrace. The room was furnished simply, which we preferred, and a kettle and tea-making supplies were provided (this is not common to many Greek hotels). The breakfast buffet was simple but plentiful. The hotel is also an easy walk from/to the main ferry drop-off point for services from/to Piraeus (Athens) and other nearby islands. Plenty of cafes and restaurants are also within easy walking distance, as is a supermarket.
Nothing significant - the bathroom was 'tired' but serviceable. As noted, it will be updated in coming months.

Beautiful decor in a historic building made for a lovely seaside retreat with a. perfect sunset view and perfectly accommodating staff.
It took a moment to identify the reception for what it was.

Top of the bathroom was around 1.90m height. Very small shower space, always in touch with shower curtain when have shower. Some tiles were broken. Very old furniture. No view at all.
The outside architecture, close to the port. There was a portable heater. Also blankets.
