I loved this little b and b the host was magnificent, the breakfast was beautiful and the room was comfortable

Literally the only down side was how far out of York it was but this would be perfect for people who just want to relax

A gem of a find near York

A gem of a find around 10-15 minute drive south of York in a lovely village location overlooking a green field area. Ideal for visiting York or surrounding attractions. Plenty of off-road parking available in front of the property. The room was beautifully decorated and the spacious en-suite facilities included a bath and shower which was powerful and hot. A great addition was the mini fridge and the fresh milk provided for tea and coffee. You can stay here on a room only basis or b&b. I opted for the breakfast which was served in the Garden Room. It was a delicious full English with extra offerings of drinks and toast if you required them. Other options are available and attention to the menu was clearly evident. The owner was warm, friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable of the area. There were a few seating areas in the garden for sitting outside on a warm sunny day. There was also a comfortable and peaceful lounge area available to guests. Thank you for a wonderful 2-night stay and I look forward to returning in the very near future.

We have already booked our returns

The property is is in a beautiful location and is beautifully presented. Rooms are comfortable and have the added bonus of an upstairs reading room and a guest lounge. Breakfasts were well cooked with a great variety of options Nothing is too much trouble for Adele the host. Plentiful parking and close to buses to York. The local church is well worth a visit.

Best full English Breakfast!

Stunning location in a sleepy little village. Host very helpful and communicative. The breakfast was the best my Dad has ever had and he has had a lot of full English breakfasts in his time so that's high praise indeed!

Excellent, nothing to fault.

This is in an excellent location, only short ride to outlet centre which includes York’s park and ride. Adele was an excellent host and the breakfast was delicious.

Brilliant visit, with a great host and excellent breakfasts - left feeling happy and relaxed.

Breakfast was amazing, Adele made sure everything was exactly right, real attention to detail. No complaints about anything. Sitting in lounge on an evening with log burner was a real treat after a long day. We loved walking from the property around local footpaths and seeing local Barn Owls was a treat.

Comfortable and friendly stay in a convenient location to visit York

we had a warm and friendly welcome. it was a delightful room and home and clean. It had a good shower and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious. There was parking opposite the house. 10-15 minute drive to York

What a nice experience

Very nice stay - very friendly and helpful host welcoming us. Comfy beds, nice bed linen, good towels, and a stocked fridge for breakfast made this a very pleasant stay. Will look for excuses to stay again!

Lovely weekend at Harmony House

Beautiful rooms and breakfast. Adele makes sure you have everything you need. Quiet location but easy access to York and Selby and all the villages in-between.

A great place to get out of the roaring hue and cry!

The breakfast was great. The location is a rural idyll with large open grasslands and a stream just outside. The beds were very comfortable and we had peaceful nights.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay, will definitely visit again.

I stayed in Willow cottage with my husband and two daughters during Easter break. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Willow cottage is cozy and comfortable. Absolutely spotless. We received a very warm welcome from Adele on arrival. The breakfast hamper is such a sweet touch. The location is fantastic for visiting York and Harrogate. Highly recommend Harmony Boutique.
